The property has its own charm as it matures, perhaps needing a touch of updating along the way. It carries a cozy, rustic feel, but in a way that adds character rather than detracting from the overall experience. So, while it may show its age slightly, it certainly doesn't hold back on providing a delightful experience for all who visit.

The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, always available to lend a helping hand whenever needed. And let's not forget about the incredible cook who treated us to delicious local cuisine, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our experience. While the proximity to the beach was a definite highlight, I couldn't help but wish for an ocean view from the balcony. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

salt water shower - even if there was an outside shower to fresh rinse off the salt water from the sea.

location and staff - super helpful, super safe and super friendly amazing location for beach close to town and entertaining monkeys on the property lots of security so felt safe - allowed us a late check which was so nice. lots of beachboys on the beach but most are very respectful if you say no took our own drinking water filter so there is a big cannister of fresh rain water to filter

The location is stunning! Waking up to a view of the Indian Ocean was incredible. The grounds are nice, if you're lucky you can observe Colobus monkeys in the trees, the owners and staff were so helpful and nice! This was so much better than staying at a high-priced resort.

The place offers wonderful relaxation with super access to and views of the ocean. The team on site is very supportive.

Some of the bed sheets looked old and worn out and had some spots. Luckily we could leave that room as the spare room.

It's worth the money you spent. Provides basic accommodation but the best ocean view and easy access to the beach. We felt safe taking a walk at night.

Mainly that we had to wash in salt water.

The location of our Beach chalet was perfect. We could watch the tide from our verandah. The beach was superb. The grounds were always policed and kept clean & tidy.

Maybe the opening hours of the reception, while the guards were always present many of them spoke limited English and so at times we couldn’t communicate with them properly. Also, while this is to be expected, there were quite a lot of ants so maybe a more permanent solution to them than spray could be useful.

The location was very nice with the beach almost in our backyard and the houses surrounded by trees. The houses themselves were also a positive surprise as we expected very basic cottages but got proper well furnished houses. Also, as guests from Europe we found the monkeys that basically lived around us absolutely adorable, even though one baboon stole our grapes.

This a hard one, because it was beyond my expectations. A bit far, but after getting the handle of how to get to places was very fine.

It was self-catered, but restaurants are very close, just a walk down the beach. Fantastic beach, well taken cared of property with excellent security, very safe. I liked the quiet nights, far from clubs, but you could get to them if you wanted. The sea is warm and you can swim, plus go snorkeling for a few hours on a boat.

Nothing that stands out to me at all with the BeachChalets, but the beach sellers were very full on this time around. I have been to Diani several times and this was late in the season (but very hot still) and they were everywhere even after you have bought things from them. Don't let this put you off though as you just need to be polite but firm with them.

Not sure where to start... Diani BeachChalets exceeded every expectation I could have had. It is more beautiful than the photo's can show. We had the sea view chalet which over looked the garden and then the beach and sea. Being able to wake in the morning walk onto the patio and see the sunrise over the indian ocean is a view you would never bore of. The Chalet is basic but well equipped. I have travelled lots with work all over the world and I like basic and raw and this place hit the spot.

An apartment in paradise! Charming, simple but with all commodities, very clean, wonderful staff, but most important of all situated in a beautiful garden right next to an absolutely stunning beach! If you love peace and quiet and enjoy nature and solitude this is perfect, but the next adventure is just one Tuk Tuk ride away ….
