Great little gem in Diani. It consists of 6 lovely bungalows with a great big swimming pool all tucked into a lush tropical garden. We stayed in a 2 bedroom bungalow, which was decorated with taste, very clean, it had a well equipped kirchen, nice big bathroom and a terrass with a seating area and a a wide sofa. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and tasty. The location is only a few steps from the beach and close to everything you need: cafes, restaurants, supermarket, bakery, atm, pharmacy etc. Everything is in a walking distance, which is great. Although not far from the main street, it was very quiet and peacful. Would definitely stay again! Only to reccomend!

The beach that was close by was dirty and full of seaweed. The beach boys are pretty aggressive. I didn’t mind paying for electricity usage but think this should be disclosed prior to booking.

The cottages were spacious and well appointed. The pool was lovely as were the grounds. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were excellent. There was a grocery store and nice restaurant (Havana) across the street. The owner helped me to book an excellent driver for pick up at train station.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating of early breakfasts to enable early departure for diving excursions. Pool is a good size for leisurely swim or a few laps. Monkeys in the compound are adorable..

nothing but as you pay for electricity you use sepárele it would be good to know the unit cost before your stay is finalised so you can estimate how much you’re spending as you go along

pool was lovely and well maintained. rooms were clean and spacious and had everything you need. AC was always working as was the hot water. monkeys were often on the roof which was very cute. staff very attentive and can see they care about the state of the hotel and it’s facilities

Nothing, the whole experience was fantastic

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Diani Cottages. The property consists of six lovely cottages around a beautiful pool area. The team were amazing and looked after us so well, keeping everything spotlessly clean and well maintained. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay. The location was great, near to the beach, restaurants and a good supermarket

We noticed some traffic noise when we were waking up in the morning but considering the advantages of less than a minute’s walk to shopping and restaurants this is not a problem.

The place is about a 10-minute drive from Ukunda Airstrip and the staff had arranged for a taxi that waited for us when the plane landed. The place looks exactly as the pictures. There is a feeling of privacy, every morning the breakfast is served on the private terrace in front of the house and the little monkeys keep their distance. :) When you exit the main gate and turn left there is less than a minute’s walk to a supermarket, shopping, and restaurants. If you instead turn right, then there is a two-minute walk along a small path to the beautiful beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The laundry service and extra cleaning is cheap. The water in the shower can feel a bit cold in the morning but it is not a problem and if you shower in the afternoon the water has warmed up. All windows have mosquito nets so we could keep all the windows open and had no need for the air condition. Electricity is paid for when you check out but for the two weeks we stayed there, we barely paid anything for electricity. If you use the tuk-tuks for a 10-minute trip then there is even more options of nice restaurants, shopping and even a hospital. This is absolutely a place we want to visit again.

At first I was nervous because they couldn't find our reservation. The computer had failed and backup not yet restored. But all worked out in a few minutes. They charge for electricity used, a small amount of money.

Small tastefully decorated large comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast. Clean pool. Monkeys which did not bother us.
