Bernard and Jane are absolutely amazing. The level of commitment to making our stay exceptional and the genuine interest in our well-being is indescribable. Combining this with their excellent location, right next to an elephant orphanage, giraffe center, national park and the Karen Blixen museum, it makes the best option for wtay in Nairobi. We have stayed here twice and both the rooms and the cottages are worth recommending. We will definitely come back here!

Everything was good, you have your own cottage with the gate key and your home key, I really recommend this place, it's fully equiped for cooking, you really feel at home. The garden is beautiful. It's inside of a big residence fully secured, taxi knows the place so no worries, You are in the heart of Karen with a mall a big supermaket and few restaurant 15min away, the center of nairobia is 40minutes drive, Giraffe center is near by and the elephant orphanage also. I went by walk. I recommend staying in Karen suburb and go to the center when you need it and the owner are always ready to help and they are adorable, If I ever returned to Kenya I will definetly go back there.

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful garden! It’s a little touch a tranquility in a major city. Edaala comfort is set in the lovely gated neighborhood of Karen, within walking distance of Boho eatery restaurant. Very close to the national park, the Sheldrick nursery and giraffe Centre, only 30 mins outside city Centre. I became sick on my second night and Jane was so lovely and caring, providing medicine, water and food as I wasn’t able to go out and get it. They go above and beyond and I will be staying again!

No dislikes, we'd stay here again!

Great location in the leafy urban area of Karen. Close to the giraffe centre and a mall for shopping and food. We hired a car to get around so these places were close by. Free wifi in the rooms, and dining area. Safe area, space for car parking, and lovely outdoor area to relax in. Staff were friendly, lovely! Breakfast was great too.

I loved everything about Edaala. From the gorgeous accommodations in a safe gated community that was centrally located, within walking distance or a short drive, to sites my friends and I came to see to the amazing staff. We loved our first stay so much we changed our overnight booking before departure to stay another night at Edaala. I cannot recommend this property enough. The owners communications from the moment we booked to the moment we departed was spot on. Thank you for being so gracious and accommodating to last minute changes in our schedule. I cannot wait to visit again.

Not a complaint, just know that Edaala can be hard to find/access for taxis/Ubers since it's in a gated community. Closest restaurants, shopping, and ATMs are at least 1km away so be prepared to walk.

Bernard, Jane, Miriam, and William were all wonderful hosts! From arranging airport transportation to balancing our staggered arrival times, they did everything they could to help us feel at home in their homey B&B. Breakfast has a large and delicious range of offerings. The gated neighborhood felt safe and clean. We stayed in both the private cottages and house rooms, which were cozy and well appointed with fresh water and extremely comfortable beds. This is a great spot make your "home base" if you're traveling regionally for safaris or other adventures in Kenya/Tanzania.

One minor inconvenience was that GPS to the location is inaccurate, which made Uber a bit of a challenge. Every driver handled it with typical Kenyan “Hakuna matata” though.

Vasant and William were extremely hospitable and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. They were able to arrange a guide for me for the day and also went above and beyond in their service. Vasant helped me to get a huge bag of donations from Nairobi to Arusha.

Very comfortable and clean room. The kitchen has everything you may need to fix up a meal. Breakfast was very delicious and freshly made Host was wonderful and helped me with airport transfer. I certainly felt like home!
