How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

No complaints, everything was great!
This home was impeccable! My husband and I enjoyed it. It was clean. Decorated just as beautiful as the pictures. It is in a secure location. You can walk to get groceries. The host was great! Throughout the stay, he checked on us. I will definitely book this place again!

It was a good stay.
Bonnie's two-bedroom apartment is very nice. It was super clean and well appointed. There is a good-sized living room and dining room area and a kitchen (no oven but not needed). There is also a washer and dryer in the apartment. Location wise, it is near Wilson Airport (and was about 25 minutes from NBO). It is a short Uber ride from grocery stores. I'm not sure how walkable the apartment is; Bonnie suggested we take a taxi to stores and that would have been most comfortable although we didn't have time to do that anyway. The best thing about this booking is Bonnie! On arrival he was available in the middle of the night to communicate with our Uber driver if needed. He was also available by text during and even after our stay. When you are in a new city, it's nice to have complete trust in someone to help with logistics!

Security at the gate could be improved, not questioned much, letting visitors in without checking.
The host, Bonnie, was very helpful. Made the stay easy by providing information needed and always asking if I had any questions.

The property was amazing as was the host Bonnie. The place was spotless and in a very good location. He welcomed us personally even though we came late and was very helpful. There are also many amenities close by. Airport access is very convenient to both Wilson (15 min) and Jomo Kenyatta (30 min). Very stylishly designed and easy check in. We will return every time we go to Nairobi! Thank you Bonnie!

It was sometimes a bit noisy outside.
Great hosts, great apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Security checks when entering the building, so we felt safe. Everything we needed was there. Highly recommended.

We were previously booked on this place when we arrived to Kenya before we proceed on safari. Still, we choose to return on this apartment because we really love the place. Everything is perfect. Nothing bad to say about Bonnie or to the place. Will definitely book this again if I will return to Nairobi.

The property was great and spotless. Bonnie welcomed us even though our check in was a little late and was a fantastic host. He even suggested a few places to visit nearby. Informed us about all the supermarket and restaurants near by. The TV was loaded with all OTT platforms like Netflix, prime video etc. They made us feel like we were at home.

Bonnie the host was amazing and did everything he could to help. Even helped by doing a small shop which meant we could have breakfast rather than have to go out shopping. Amazing service

A fantastic Host and an amazing apartment, thoughtfully decorated and homely. Location is great with easy access to the Malls and transport. The host Bonnie is super friends, responsive and was kind enough to stay up late to ensure we were safely checked in. Apartment has a security lockbox so we were able to self check in which was very convenient, I would recommend the Host and his apartments anytime

Bonnie went to great lengths to ensure our comfort during our stay. He was especially helpful when some of my family members fell ill and even made sure to regularly check in on us. The apartment was very clean, well decorated and spacious, with good wifi, TV (and streaming services), washing machine, and kitchen facilities. There are several popular eateries, pharmacies and a supermarket within walking distance from the apartment complex.
