    Everything is simply perfect

This is the best lodge in all the Mara, the staff is very welcoming, they really make you feel home. The food is excellent worth a Michelin restaurant, everything is home made and fresh. The lodges are fully equipped and have a wonderful view. William is the best host ever, he is attentive to his guests needs and do everything possible to make them feel special.

Perfect for a secluded accomodation in the middle of the Mara for good value for money.

Drinks and spirit options could have been richer, the staff don't really offer or ask you any alcoholic drinks during meals unless you ask them for. They could have been more proactive to offer options. Most of the camps even offer complementary Champagne or wine after the afternoon game drives with a small table set up at the Mara. There could have been at least two main course options during lunch and dinner that you could choose in advance. Although it is delicious, you just have to eat only what is served. The camp is not fenced, so possibly wild animals can walk around in the camp, which sounds like an advantage to see them closer but it is dangerous for the guests to be outside especially after the sundown, so you need to stay in your tent and cannot be not even on the patio during the night. Could have been better to enjoy the Mara and the sky full of stars at night and make you feel safer. The camp could offer a much more luxurious experience with only a few additional small touches.

The camp is very secluded in a perfect location with only two tents. The tents are spacious and nicely decorated, the food and the presentation of the courses are above average. The staff is very polite and helpful, a little shy/reserved though to communicate with you. The game drives and park entrance fees are included in the accomodation fee which makes you save a good amount of money for the same game drive experience. Sitting by the camp fire is really nice but you have to be back at the camp at 6 pm which limits your game drive. Kids are very welcome, they enjoyed every second of their stay at Enkusero. We all enjoyed our total stay and have been lucky enough to see the 4/5 of the African Big 5. The camp is owned and managed by Maasai people, a real local experience rather than a hotel like stay with lots of people around and open buffet queues. William is the perfect guide and very knowledgable. Thank you all.

Enkusero is one of less than ten camps in the Mara wholly owned & operated by an actual Masaai with 15 years of experience as a guide in the Mara. intimate set up and great for a small group or family as you’ll likely have the entire camp to yourself. Come for the wildlife & competent guides (bush lunch/dinner is a must), stay for the spectacular cooking by Robert. incredibly secure with 24/7 team watching over camp which is open & you’ll see all kinds of wildlife wandering about from the lounge.
