Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

KenyaI checked in the hotel at 1am and requested to have a late check-out at 11am to allow me sleep, but was awaken by the housekeeping ladies. They were too noisy and woke me up at 8 am by chatting and laughing so loudly. I did not enjoy my extended check-out as anticipated

KenyaThe breakfast. They should serve better breakfast with balanced diet and not just a a cup of tea and 2 mandazi. I was told the breakfast was determined by the rate I paid for the room. They should give someone options when reserving or booking the room.
I was not impressed with the breakfast(just a cup of tea and 2 mandazi) given the standard of the hotel. The location of the hotel is ideal especially for travelers, business people and work related travel within Nairobi CBD.

KenyaStayed for 2 days. Staff didn't change the bedding nor bothered to offer me a clean towel for the next day not to mention bathing soap. No instant shower. They have a fast food joint which closes early instead of a restaurant.

KenyaThe 1st room we paid for was next to people that were smiling so much we couldn’t breathe— the 2nd room had open wall to hallway, the door didn’t lock proper, the mosquito net wasn’t big enough and couldn’t close , the noise from the rowdy neighbors didn’t allow us any rest -

United KingdomI wish I toke pictures of the place. For start the hotel is upstairs of some kind of shopping mall and you can imagine the bad smell and disgust surrounding the street. At the reception we were welcomed by a lady that she doesn't understand English and so was challenging to understand and viceversa. After all the reservation went through they toke us at our bedroom and believe me that the picture weren't matching the reality of the place. You can tell that the room is part of hookers' business as the quality and the cleanliness reflects such statement. There were just one pillow, one towel for two person, were ants as a dinner leftover were in the floor, and the toilet was not clean at all. The only window in the room were facing the passageway to other rooms and if left open people that passed by were peaking inside. The were not room enough to open the luggage. We left.
Nothing. Everything were horrible.
