Shower in master bath was a bit temperamental and lack of mosquito net in two bedrooms! Easy fix and Judy assured us it would be rectified!

What a great way to end our Kenyan getaway in this great little cottage! We loved it was an easy shuttle to the lodge and all the amenities; yet quiet and private from the hustle and bustle! A great place to unwind with a cup of tea and fireplace a glow! We loved the big space for our young family and the African feel! The staff manager Judy was lovely and the gentleman as well, assisting with whatever we needed- beds also were very comfy! The place also was so much nicer in person! Lastly, lovely bird tree in backyard kept kids entertained! Beautiful!

The showers need fixing and the bathrooms need to be renovated. The seats in the living room also need be changed

Is a home away from home you have the feeling of being at peace. Very worth it. Judy and David are very welcoming and cater to most of your needs however much they can. The place is quite easy to find. The fact that its a private property makes it very unique. Very nice for a group or a family. You can either choose to cook or have the meals cooked for you as David is a good cook it’s very Quiet and very serene. You can also catch the sunrise on the upstairs balcony which was a plus for me.

A bit old but very cosy cottage where one feels like home or at grandma's place. Very quiet place with beautiful views. The most amazing was the bird feeder with big variety of birds. We watched them the whole day!

We only wish that we could have stayed longer

We were happy to find this house within the lodge property which is secure and beautiful too. We were kindly welcomed and settled in by Judy and David who provided great support during our stay. The property has plenty of trees and foliage to provide privacy and a haven for the many birds and wildlife that comes through. The house is well furnished with comfortable beds and wood provided to make a fire on chilly nights. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the patio, and also walking around, viewing wildlife in the peaceful environment. The lodge restaurant had good food for when we didn't want to cook for ourselves. This is a place we will stay again and again.

There isn’t much to not like. But if you have toddlers or rambunctious young kiddos, the small hall way upstairs between the 2 bedrooms a wider than those you’d find or are allowed in the states. I can fit between them. The railing at the main bedroom balcony are geometric Desig that is also too wide for toddlers. So, I was uneasy a bit and had to keep reminding everyone to keep an eye on our toddler when I used the bathroom or showered. But this may be just me be overly careful.

The cottage is roomy and we each had our own room. The 4th room located downstairs is a bed/office room but with a big enough bed but not as unique as the rest of the rooms. But great when you need that additional room. The high wood ceilings make the place feel bigger.

The excellent atmosphere for a quiet getaway. Spacious, lush garden, wildlife (many birds, zebra's, etc) in the garden or nearby. But especially the care from Judy and David made the stay outstanding.
