The internet was off and on. I had to ring reception as they changed the network name and password without notice. Also there was a large screen TV in my room but it’s was not connected to anything, no TV, no in-house movies or channels. Lastly I only realized after checking it that it is a halal guest house, ie no pork or alcohol which isn’t a big deal but it would have been nice to know at the time of booking, maybe I missed it. I would stay again simply due to the location and proximity to the UNON.

Location is right next to the United Nations Office Nairobi and United States Embassy. You can not get any closer. Staff are very efficient and friendly. They arranged a very professional and comfortable shuttle back to the airport for m. Overall a great place, great staff and I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect.

As soon as I got to GLV II , I felt very welcomed and the room was beautiful, the decor made me feel that I was in beautiful Kenia, with a lot of taste, the furniture, etc., all related to the culture of Africa. I was in the room Kifaru (Rhino in swahili) The staff was so friendly and professional, Lilly the Manager made sure I felt comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and the food in Restaurabt 5th Avenue was superbe! I highly recommend this hotel, it’s just amazing!

We loved everything, the only thing we wished would have been better was the shower - it was a very updated shower but the water was only warm from the hand wand or the wall, the rain shower only had cold water and it made it so when we showered water got everywhere in the bathroom.

It was unique and felt very upscale while also being family-friendly. We had appointments at the IOM and the US Embassy so the location was perfect.

The lighting was a bit hard to figure out, could be a good thing just to go over with a customer when they arrive. (What switches control what lights)

Absolutely nothing.

Everything was perfect. The breakfast was very good, wifi worked well, it is walking distance from the UN building - perfect for work. The shuttle was absolutely amazing, such a great service to offer guests. And the cherry on the top: the staff. So nice and willing to go an extra mile to provide guests with the best service. I would definitely come back.

My only complaint was that I had no hot water in my room (!) and the café closed very early with no meaningful service available once it had shut, which is no good if working late.

A very friendly and welcoming establishment which couldn't be more convenient for UNON.
