Amazing aerial view of Nairobi City from the Roof top bar. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options both continental and Indian cuisine.

Breakfast could have been better. As a vegetarian the options were quite limited . The room service is a little slow .

Staff is quite helpful and warm. The hotel is well placed and has great security. Rooms are sized well and the pool has a great view.

GT has a fabulous range of items for a good start of the day. The staff are super friendly. The hotel is a bit tired, however clean and tidy. The location of this hotel is excellent with shopping mall within walking distance and plenty of restaurants.

We were supposed to check in at night (21:30 landing) and we had arranged the airport transfer from the hotel. Our flight was delayed by 5hrs so I was updating the hotel, however the communication on their side was poor. They should have been checking the flight status. They were not replying to our messages and at the end there was no transfer waiting for us. We landed at 2:30am in a city that is known for being dangerous and we were left without a transfer even though there was a night shift person at the front desk. The last day we had requested a late check out which we paid for $50 and when we asked them to replenish our water in the room, the front desk said that we had to pay for it. When you pay half the price of the room for a 6pm checkout, two bottles of water could have been offered.

The breakfast, the room was spacious. Mr John, Violet, Purity were great.

The rooftop pool was freezing - a heated pool would have been amazing. The view from the non-superior room was awful as a big office building is only meters from the window. There was no natural light and no fridge in this type of room. We upgraded to a superior room for an extra $30 and it was well worth it.

The staff at check-in were superb and were very accommodating to any requests. The barman on the rooftop bar was also great. The staff at the restaurant were a bit slow and a couple of the ladies were not very helpful. The hotel is well-located and we had no problem grabbing an Uber from the hotel. I would definitely upgrade to a Superior Room as the view from the room is significantly better than the non-superior rooms. They have a great gym with sauna and steam room. Breakfast was fine but more fruit options would be even better. There's a great little mall only 100m from the hotel with a good food court - it was called Broadwalk Mall. Overall, a great place to stay if you're planning on doing day trips from Nairobi.

There is no spa facility inside the hotel, however, there is one inside a shopping centre in walking distance.

It was a pleasant stay for 1 night after a safari and before departing home. It has a good location and close to the airport.

On the first night the alarm went on and woke us al at 5am in the morning, second night the phone rang for few seconds and woke us up again. Our room wasn’t checked on our second day se we had no fresh towels, shower gel, toilette roll.

Golden Tulip is a nice hotel in Nairobi Westlands. The location is good and we always felt safe. The room was spacious with a great view from the window. Good breakfast, nice food at the restaurant on the 10th floor. Staff is very nice and professional
