Our shower did not have a great pressure, but was good enough to make do!

You will truly feel at home at Karen Gables! What a comfortable and welcoming home in a peaceful setting. We enjoyed every moment of our stay here. The staff were so wonderful (Newton, Wilem, and Grace, amongst others) and took good care of us! We ate breakfasts and dinners at the house and the food was exceptional, so fresh and flavorful.

I wish Nairobi was more walkable - but nothing Karen Gables can do.

This place is so so nice - you'll want to move in. The staff are so caring, the breakfast is so fresh and nice. Really it's a beautiful place I won't froget.

Outside room was a bit damp, no air conditioning and no phone so felt a bit isolated. Having said that it was nice and quiet and private.

The stay here was absolutely lovely, we are coming back. The house and room were gorgeous, overlooking a beautiful lush garden and pool. Perfect to cool down and recharge. The staff and owner were super helpful and took amazing care of us. The food was great!

Everything was simply perfect ! The people were very very kind, the house is beautiful, wonderful energy there, the garden, the pool, the lounge. Food from breakfast to dinner was delicious. William was especially lovely, such a kind soul ! And Christian the owner was very thoughtful. We would go back tomorrow and stay longer. We enjoyed the calm and the fact that the house is hidden away. But also well located !

Beautiful place tucked away in magical gardens. The staff were super helpful and even packed us a nice lunch for the day we did an early morning safari.

The staff were very friendly and it was such a relaxing stay in a green and serene environment. The location is great, close to the national park, giraffe center, malls in Karen, horse stables and lots of other places.

The staff were delightful and so friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were very good. The garden pool and outside bar all lovely. The antiquities in the house were so interesting and the feeling of homeliness was so welcoming. Sitting on the terrace in the evenings with the log fire burning away ended each day.

Room number two’s bathroom at entrance to room is part of open space. I would prefer more privacy. The room is above the kitchen and therefore noisy early morning.
