Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

KenyaThe room was in a very dark corner and it did not give me a very good first impression. Room 1112 to be specific. The water was very cold even after leaving it run for some 10 minutes as had been instructed at the reception

IrelandNo hot water during the stay. Rooms can do with a bit of an overhaul. Some things were outdated, small things like the dustbin is rusted away and some of the closet doors are weathered. Easy to change but will make a good impact if improved.
Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Well situated and convenient to get around. Fair price and I enjoyed the overall stay. Very nice and will come again if prices stay in the same range.

ItalyThe gym was very well equipped. The sauna was nice but the associated shower and the chenge room were located on the main corridor, so people passing by may see you from the transparent doors. The illumination at the restaurant and the terrace was cold and poorly welcome. Light poles at the terrace needed maintenance. The room was exposed towards the interior of the building, therefore I kep curtains always on without other possibility to have natural sunlight in the room. Vegetarian options at the restaurant and breakfast could be increased.

UgandaThe hotel is definitely in need of some basic renovation but all indications show that this is a work in progress and who doesn't need some basic renovation after the last couple of years of covid. My only real criticism would be the single use toiletries in the bathrooms, please find more environmentally friendly alternatives.
Great value for money and good location for the CBD and Westlands. The rooms were spacious and the room facilities more than adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast offered an extensive variety of food.
