The rooms are very close to each other and you might hear conversations from next door rooms or the way to the reception. My mattress was a bit worn out, but I might come again, as these are minor issues.

Friendly staff, central location, value for money

Our room was stuffy, due to having only one window. Air-condition would be a nice upgrade.

Very nice and sufficient breakfast with fresh juices every morning. And the staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Security concers with open terrace to rooms during the night. The room was hot. I was told that they will install AC units. To have an arrangement with a nearby hotel to use their swimming pool, even at a rate. That will help.

The ambience, cleanliness, and location. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice and clean. Thank you

    - The room was hot, the fan was not enough to cool it down. The staff told me that there are plans to add air-conditioning to rooms - The water pressure in the shower was not great.

+ Friendly & helpful staff + Strong wifi + Great location near the beach and the shops + Good size room & comfortable bed. The room also had a mosquito net but it was not needed during our stay + Delicious breakfast; coffee/tea, omelettes, selection of fruit, juice, bread etc served between 8am -10am Our room did not include breakfast but it cost only 500 Kes p/p + Fridge in the room + Check out is normally 10am but we were allowed to keep the room until 1pm.

Encountered bugs and critters due to incomplete window screens. Lack of AC made the room uncomfortably warm. While the staff was helpful, a warmer demeanor would have been appreciated.

The location was superb, just a minute's walk from the beach. The room exuded coziness and boasted beautiful furniture. The bathroom was decently appointed with an appealing setup. Additionally, breakfast was delicious.

    Nothing really.

It was the same every day, but delicious fruit, fresh juice and then egg, omelette or scrambled, plus coffee. The staff could not have been more helpful. All in all, very good value.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Location was good - for beaches, shops, bank, restaurants, etc; and for me because I could walk to Happy House children's home where I am a Trustee. Laundry service is also very good.

It was too hot for the first two days. I advise for the next time when you know that somebody comes, to switch on the ventilator to put more fresh air.

The best breakfast we have ever had in Africa. Amazing decoration and very helpful staff

Honestly the only thing missing is an AC, but they are working on it.

The staff is very welcoming and the breakfast is nice. The welcome drink was very nice! They helped us to get a tuktuk for a fair price, so they were very helpful as well.

The electricity is on and off, I understand this is because of rain and also I guess it's like this in watamu. The window in my room is an inside window, but I had a lovely private space just outside my room. It is very good value for money.

It's very clean and pretty. Fresh flowers, nice plants and a very good service. The staff is great. Location is good, a short walk to 2 different beaches and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

My room was a bit dark with just a little light coming from the windows opening onto a closed area

Lalasalama b&b creates the atmosphere to feel safe and relaxed after coming back from a long Safari. Located in the hearth of Watamu, everything around is so authentic. The best staff you could ever ask for: they welcome you, give you advise, open up with fragments of their society and culture.

The room was and the property was decorated immaculately and thought gone into the design. It was very hot and humid and fans provided to help. Room cleaned daily. Breakfast was delicious and different options each day. We had our trip delayed and staff were understanding and flexible.
