Located in a very quiet environment, close to the beach which is a very short walk from the resort. The owner and staff have tried to maintain a "home-away-from-home" atmosphere that feels very cosy and welcoming. Also, I really loved the interior decorations and organic toiletries that came in the room. Small details like this make a huge difference.

This hotel is quite the gem! Me and my colleagues came to Malindi for work. Our workshops are organised at nice hotels (Ocean Beach or Sandies type) in the area and we always try to stay at these hotels as well for convenience. It was our 4th time in Malindi and everything was booked this time around so me and my colleagues were in search of a different hotel. We found Lion's and what a discovery!! Worth the try, I highly recommend! The food is delicious, the hotel is comfortable and quiet, pristine clean and the staff is absolutely lovely. They made our work week very comfortable!

The personal touch from the owners 👌🏾. They made us feel at home and would go out of their way to help us experience the vibe and culture in Malindi. Imelda is really a special one. Very friendly and helpful. All the staff were so pleasant and really helpful. The food was also so delicious. I spent my birthday here and they made it super special for me. I would definitely recommend Lions' luxury Eco Resort and Spa to anyone visiting Malindi.

The Sockets to charge phones and laptops did not have enough power voltage (they were short circuiting).

The Breakfast was just standard. When you pay $11 for Breakfast, then it should have more options and choices.

Lion’s house is a hidden gem in Malindi. For those who value tranquility, peace and quiet unwinding, this is the place for you. The place is an architectural masterpiece, the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s absolutely beautiful. The owner Andrea and Imelda were absolutely incredible in ensuring that we were comfortable and happy throughout. They went out of their way to ensure that we moved around easily in Malindi. Rooms are very clean. The WI-FI was stable. Thursdays is disco night, we loved the party 🎉.

Improvement of the road leading to the place, Which I understand it is upto the county government to develop it in near future.

The environment is excellent and a very quite and relaxing place in Town. A beautiful family relaxation.

Wifi didn't reach the room unfortunately, however it works super well by the pool. The owner didnt seem interested in meeting us. Maybe tired after a long season? His wife seemed lovely though. The place is a bit remote. They advertised pizza but didn't sell any so had to go out. Luckily Bar Bar near by was great.

Loved the pool and the lovely chill space. The employees working there were really nice! The rooms have air con which is a much appreciated touch.

At first when we checked in we were taken to a room which is a tent 🤔and I said I did not pay to live in a tent . Only one one lady attending to everyone during the day and at night. No hot shower The power cut is annoying everyday for long hours . Wifi is sooooo bad . Restriction you can’t bring any food , drink to the hotel , first Time i have ever had this . Apparently the owner does like it.
