    That we couldn't stay more.

We stayed 3 nights in the camp and we loved it. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature, it clean and offers simple, but delicious food. Everyone was very friendly to us and we got to learn a little bit about the Maasai culture. We hope to return and try some of the activities.

The staff were incredible, views were breathtaking, food impeccable! We travelled all over Kenya in 5 weeks and this was by far the most magical, authentic, memorable experience we had.

Wonderfully friendly Masai people with a authentic eco-camp experience.

The road to the property is rough. Not suitable for non 4x4s, although two minibuses did manage to negotiate it so not impossible if one takes care. The property doesn't take credit cards so ensure you have cash.

This was an emergency stay for us because our vehicle broke down nearby so we missed the closing time for the gates to the Masai Mara. The lodge staff whipped up a delicious dinner for us specially, at way past dinner time. Breakfast was rudimentary but adequate. The property is an eco-camp run by the local Masai community. If you want haute cuisine, stay at a luxury hotel (and pay a lot more.) The Masai people running the camp could not have been more friendly and the views out over the plains are spectacular. The tents are rudimentary but clean and comfortable.

From arrival to departure we felt very much welcomed by the lovely and warm team of Maji Moto. We enjoyed the walks, tents, setup of the camp, the open air showers with the hot water sourced directly from the well and the conversations with the team around James, Sam and Ben! Huge thanks and ache ole to all 11 for exchanging on live and nature while walking, sitting around the fire, watching the birds and at the look-out terrace during our three days and nights in Maji Moto.

The camp is run by masai staff who welcomed us and walked with us to teach us about the traditions. In the evening we enjoyed our stay with the masai staff who danced and showed us how to make fire.

I’m still in touch with the Maasai guys at MajiMoto, Ben, Sam, Hilary and James, way after leaving the camp. That’s what happens there. You learn the intricacies of Maasai life, the ways and customs, but moreover the people. The way there are, think and act. I think there one of the finest, balanced, genuine, interesting and interested people on earth. So much to willingly give and the camp plays a perfect host to this.

Despite that it is a bit hard to het there, it is just amaizing location! You feel like you are on the top of Masai land. The view, the set of the tent units, the tiny paths among the bush jast perfect! The stuff is more than kind and way much helpfull - over the limit! Thank you for everything, one more time!

    Nichts!!!

Staying in the Camp was one of the best experiences in Kenya. We stayed there only for one night, but we learnt so much about Massai and felt extremely welcome. The staff showed us there world and guided us, so that we felt part of their home during a bush walk. We learnt the meaning of some of their dances and were shown the fire making without lighter. The food was good and original, but don’t expect a 5 course meal. It was simply good! For us as it was a must have while around the Mara.

-very very expensive for what it is: sleeping in a tent for 180$ with no real toilet and shower is crazy. the food was ok but really overpriced too -the location is not great if you want to explore Masai Mara 60km from park entrance, or 1 hour way in way jack

-very nice talk with the Masai personnel -good view -traditional and ecological place
