I think the bath and shower facilities need some attention , Lime scale and general decay were a sad factor. However i was not going to let that shade my overall view of my stay

The quality and preparation of meals were really very Good, The staff always smiling and helpful. Never once did i need to look for someone to help me...Really wonderful staff..

The bedroom was good although we did not like the rough bedsheets. A few harmless but annoying insects showed up

Tried ordering some food on the 1st night from roomservice due to our late arrival, the staff said the could only make stakes, insisted that that's all they could sell and make past midnight.

WiFi in my room did not work for most of time. Breakfast was the same every day, limited choice, but still acceptable.

The hotel has nice garden and two swimming pools. The outside facilities are really nice. The border between the hotel territory and the public beach is fenced and protected. Catering a la card was good, just prepartion of food took a lot of time.

Dirt on the bathroom windows, slow service from the waiters, waiting period for food was too long in both days and there's no communication. Rooms need deep cleaning

Some staffs were really helpful and nice but whatI really disliked was that most of the time we were questioned if we were staying there as we didn’t belong to the place. I learned that some people use the place just for casual sex. The space had a great potential but is not well managed. Facilities are old but minimally maintained.

The property is very well situated. The beach in front was clean and beautiful in the morning.

We were on half board. The breakfast was good and kitchen was responsive to requests for bacon. Evening meal buffet was ok but the nightly theme, diversity and selection we had experienced before, seems to have been replaced with only local fare. I assume this reflects the majority clientele but could go against the desirability of the hotel if seeking to attract more international guests.

This was a repeat booking as we had been to the same place 3 times before. We opted this time for a suite as we went with all family members. Good overall accommodation and faulty AC was fixed quickly. Pool was clean as usual . Very friendly and helpful staff.

I've known Nyali Beach Hotel since 1992 and was sad to see the Bistro and Mvita Grill derelict. The service was rather poor. Two out of the 3 times we wanted to swim we really struggled to track down someone to give us towels. And the tea/coffee/milk/sugar sachets in the rooms were not replenished as they should have been.

The room was lovely and the pools great. We ate in the little ala carte restaurant and the food was excellent.

Bathroom badly needs to be refurbished. Beach isn't private and we were approached by lots of souvenir sellers, which was irritating. No a la carte breakfast.

Hotel layout isn’t straightforward and was initially confusing to navigate as there are no indicators to find the room or reception. During heavy rain there was some roof leakage in public areas (rooms are fine).

Excellent swimming pools, good breakfast and dinner buffets with a mix of continental and local cuisines and a live cooling station (pancakes/eggs/pasta). Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms with a proper balcony with sufficient sitting space.
