The view of the ocean from the restaurant. Wow! Breathtaking! The serenity and beauty of the resort was overwhelming. And there was a live band playing some nice soft soothing music.! Our two nights were not enough. We are defintely coming back!

We stayed in the beach cottage, which is in a wonderful spot right on the beach, with an amazing view of the sea. The house is charming, and Chef Mo made us a fabulous curry with chapatis! We hope to get a chance to go back one day.

Slow food service.

Location is great if you want to dive as there is a great dive site located onsite: AquaVentures. The food is super fresh! Yet sometimes their food service can be very, very slow! Staff were accommodating with requests. Great place to watch live sport!

I felt there was an undercurrent of unhappiness in the staff. So opposite to the Kenyans I come across most other places in the country. In any establishment of its kind I would expect the owner or a senior manager to make personal contact with me and other customers but I never met or even saw either.

The property and the location are fabulous. Little wonder it has been the place of choice for holiday makers and ocean lovers for decades.

the main pool needs updating! Bar staff, although pleasant, were slow.

Great location and view. Spacious grounds. Lovely bar and restaurant with fabulous views. Some rooms have recently been upgraded but all are clean and comfortable with air conditioning in the bedroom. The main pool is dated and needs to be upgraded but the small pool and childrens area is very good. Great ambiance.

The pool is in a terrible state as are the toilets. The pool is good enough to use just very tired and had lacked repair and investment in decades. The booking process for OS is awful. Contacting them direct we were told fully booked although days later availability appeared on booking.com. As a result we had to make pre than one booing to cover the time we wanted. This had a ridiculous knock on effect of being moved 3 times to different rooms.

Great location set in beautiful gardens which ate well.kept. there is a very relaxed atmosphere and very easy going and superb to relax . Food is well done and tasty especially the pizzas which are made on site.

Rooms need to be updated, no fridge. Only one electric socket in the room, not enough to charge 2 phones and 2 laptops at night. Pool was very small and in bad condition.

Location is exceptional, on the beach with white sand and corals when low tide. You can watch morays and other sea fauna then very close. Beautiful view. Food was great, especially seafood pizza. Prices reasonable.

The booking process is a nightmare. It is hard to book on Amy holiday sites and contacting OS resulted in being told it was fully booked, but it then appeared on booking.com Very complicated and out holiday was made with 3/4 separate bookings which is nonsense. The pool and toilets are a bombsite in need of demolition

Only negative - getting a reservation for dinner at a good table spot could be difficult as often the table would be reserved for the whole evening meaning you may not be able to sit at a good spot. We often wanted to eat at 6pm and would be told we had to sit at the back of the restaurant with no sea view (despite the fact the sea view tables weren’t occupied until 8pm if not later). However I suppose you could reserve a table you wanted earlier and be a bit more organised.

We stayed for a week in the ocean view room. Absolutely beautiful hotel, one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. Immediately on the beach with a beautiful sunset. Arriving to a coconut water drink and breakfast was a lovely touch. Our room was beautiful. Air con and mosquito net was very good. Room cleaned every day with fresh bed sheets and linen. Worth paying for an ocean view room if you can. The food was amazing throughout the week. You could choose from a range of fresh meat/seafood/veggie dishes but also fresh sushi and poke bowls. All top quality food. Menu changed every day so never got bored. Lots of places to sit and relax. Two pools with lots of sun beds and space. Very quiet throughout the resort. It is a slightly more ‘chilled out’ resort than some of the neighbouring hotels which we absolutely loved. You met lots of people and was very sociable. If you’re into sport, they are happy to show anything you want on the TVs (premier league/six nations etc etc). Staff overall very friendly and welcoming, happy to help with reservations/recommendations/taxis. Service generally very good and attentive. Overall do not HESITATE to stay here. The pictures do not do this place justice. We had the trip of a lifetime.

The sunbeds could do with updating and the breakfast room although open sided was very hot. Fans would’ve made it more comfortable. Small things that didn’t distract from our enjoyment.

Breakfast was great and plenty of it. Our room was basically furnished it spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great air conditioning. Tea or coffee delivered each morning. The staff were all great. Lovely plunge pool area. The food in the bar is exceptional and so lovely to sit by the sea for dinner in a cool breeze. Great vibe

Omg this was the amazing place I have ever got to stay, I was traveling solo and the team was amazing try to engage conversation with me! I loved that! The rooms are clean, food is the best. And they helped me organize activities. STUNNING RESORT ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
