The beach boys are slightly annoying, but they aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. Just treat them like you would anyone else that was bothering you, and ask them to leave you alone. They cant come on the private beach so know you will be able to relax.

The rooms, the private beach, the dining and everything were absolutely amazing. We were treated like royalty, and will definitely be back.

Amazing place and extraordinary staff !! We choose Ocean Village Club to the final days of our Kenya trip, and it was the best decision! We also booked the airport transfer and we realised how convient it has the moment we saw the queue to enter the ferry and thanks to the priority-passes we could directly jump the line! We stayed in the Ocean Village Club 4 nights and we didn't left the club area once, they organize daily activities and I could even have tennis classes for begginers. The club has direct access to the beach but also has a private area to enjoy the sun - which after seeing so many sellers passing by in the beach always asking if you wanna buy something, having this private area is quite convient. I really have to mention how genually friendly the staff was, not even a single exception! Cannot recomend enough the Ocean Village Club!

Great staff except small exceptions: the woman in the reception and the waitress in the restaurant (pole, pole, slow and didn't bring the exact food I have ordered).

Boutique hotel full of greenery, amazing, spacious rooms with shower and bathtub, very tasty food, location right on the beach is perfect. Very friendly staff, especially the cheff from the restaurant, Ahmed the manager, the waiters from the restaurant, the security - professional and kind.

Everything was incredible from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable rooms - perfect to relax in (just watch out for the cheeky monkeys who are never too far away :) ). The staff went above and beyond at every opportunity, we felt well looked after the whole time. Special mentions to Hamisi, Mohamed and Johnson who couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was a choice of American or Arabic coffees, freshly squeezed juices, egg station, and enough food variety to cater to all tastes. The sparkling wine was also a nice touch :) Their private beach runs alongside the most beautiful strip of Diani beach so you have a bit of privacy while enjoying the views. Another highlight has got to be the evening meals. Every night several different options for 3 course meal and it was exciting waiting to see what the chef was cooking up that night. One of my favourites was crab night and I'll include a picture. Thank you to everyone at Ocean Village Club and we can't wait to return!

My recent stay at Ocean Village was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, every aspect of our experience was simply amazing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by warm and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. The check-in process was seamless, and we were pleasantly surprised by an unexpected upgrade to a room with a breathtaking view. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the comfortable bedding to the modern amenities that made our stay convenient and enjoyable. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was its exceptional staff. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Whether it was the front desk team providing us with local recommendations, the housekeeping staff keeping our room in immaculate condition, or the restaurant staff serving delicious meals, every interaction was marked by professionalism and genuine hospitality. The gardening team kept the gardens looking brilliant and the security kept the monkeys away from pinching our food! Speaking of the restaurant, the culinary experience at Ocean Village was a highlight of our stay. The chef's creations were a delightful fusion of flavors, and the ambiance made each meal feel like a special occasion. In summary, our stay at Ocean Village was truly unforgettable, thanks in large part to the amazing staff who went out of their way to make us feel like valued guests. 1. Half board only gives you breakfast and dinner. Lunch was an option. If you wanted to try dinner at another location in town, you still had to purchase your lunch. You can purchase lunch or dinner anywhere you desire. 2. Drinks in including water, coffee, juices, and ALL alcohol are charged at USD at lunch, dinner, and while at the pool/beach throughout the day. We, along with several other guests, we got to know felt this cost was out of line. A bottle of water was $2/, a small coffee was $4/, a bottle of Tusker beer was $6/. Clearly, these costs don't align with the cost of beverages at other hotels and resorts we stayed at in Kenya.

First class facility, food and staff. We would do this resort again, but with more time than 3 days.

The hotel seems partially finished. Completing the renovation and making the hotel fully operational would be very beneficial for the hotel.

Although we had the perfect time at the property I would like to share a concern about the surroundings: the public beach is almost unusable because of the locals trying to sell something or begging, also there is the need to care about the environment. I believe the property is already doing their share of what's necessary to improve/change the above, but would like them to continue (e.g. giving jobs, working with government on defining and implementing programs, etc.) and will leave it to future guests to be the judge of how that effort went.

Everything was great - the buildings and area built and decorated with authentic styling, gardening, pools, the restaurant right next to the ocean, the sunbeds/towels and sand within the property, etc. The room was really a luxury one, the best that I've seen. Measures against mosquitos. The food was perfect, variety of dishes and of good quantity. The staff was very eager to serve us and took a great care of us. Thank you Ocean Village Club!

Unfortunately the Gym an Spa were under renovations. But get to spend a few hours at the Swahili resort for massage was incredible.

Location was amazing. The difference of an adult’s only club. The staff. The musicians were simply incredible and to hear the music so quietly to preserve the piece is nothing I have ever experienced before. Simply Amazing.

The staff are really good, you can tell they are well trained. Ahmed, the manager, was so courteous and sweet. The property is well maintained and so serene with lots of greenery around. The rooms are large and clean. The beach is fantastic. We were welcomed with bubbly which is quite an investment and which we appreciated. Breakfast and dinner were good and made to order. I’d definitely come back again and again!!

Our recent stay at Ocean Village Club was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was in for something special. The level of service I received during my time there was nothing short of incredible. The hotel itself was a true gift, and I can confidently say that it was the best hotel experience I've ever had in my entire life. The attention to detail in every aspect of the establishment, from the luxurious rooms to the exquisite dining options, was simply outstanding. But what truly set Ocean Village Club apart was its staff. I have traveled extensively, but I have never encountered a team of individuals who were so genuinely caring and attentive. I came to this hotel after a work conference in Mombasa; my coworker and I just wanted somewhere to relax for a few days. This was one of the best hotels I have every stayed at. The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. The hotel was the perfect level of relaxation, with beds right on the beach, seats by the pool, chairs right outside each room, loads of places to lounge. But there were also activities, including pétanque matches in the morning, and tennis in the afternoon. I particularly enjoyed playing tennis with Hamisi every day, and he even did a special morning lesson for me the day I left as I could not make the afternoon class. They also provide guests with different board games, cards and books to read. The food was incredible, breakfast each morning with a view of the ocean is so delightful and every night guests are treated to a choice of different three course meals (the lobster was definitely a highlight!). The room was designed to perfection, with a rain shower and full bathtub, and very comfortable beds. I could not have asked for a better stay in terms of location, friendliness of staff, delicious food, and value for money. I did not want to leave. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Diani Beach.
