Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomAll was ok
I really liked the proximity to the Masai Mara national park, is actually 5 min away by car. Also Anne the owner was very charm and helpful at all moment, resolving all our questions and needs and giving us very good knowledge about all you have to know for your safari trip. If you are looking for a good safari and adventure and disconnect this is your place. Food was also very good.

United KingdomThe one-day safari arranged by the camp was truly excellent – we were lucky to see cheetahs, many lions doing different things, great bird life, hyenas and more. Driving through faint tracks in the grass is a great experience, too. Hikes up the local mountain and through the bush in the morning were a great delight – amidst friendly giraffes, zebras and monkeys. We were lucky to see a mongoose or two. The camp was also able to arrange last-minute transfers for us from Nairobi airport when other transportation failed to show up as well as transportation to Nakuru. Tents are comfortable at night, with temperature of 18-20C inside, hot water is good if intermittent, food is good.

India* The access road is very bad. * Towels are very bad quality (though mentioned as 100% cotton, but nylon mixed), not at all soaking the water after shower. * Food options can be improved. * One of the partners Mr.D though he is a good person :), to be helpful to the guests offsite too before their arrival. I struggled to reach the facility though I was promised to be picked up from the main road, but no communication.
* Partners is communicative and oversees to ensure comfort of the guests. * Cleanliness of the facility and rooms. * The arrangement of the rooms, dining area, etc. * Staff are welcoming and professional.

CanadaNo cell phone charge enough electricity voltage in the tent. Always I had to request from them to take my cell phone charge in their kitchen building. The electricity in the tent is low voltage no possibility to charge cell phones, The shower has very low water running and it took more than 45 minutes to finish my body wash.
Place is so clean and protective. Meals also good. Staff attention on customers also good. Night time three maasai security personel out side the tent is appreciated

Czech RepublicThe complementary activities are quite expensive - but this is typical for the whole Kenya.
The safari tour driver Lawrence was perfect, he knew exactly where to go and when. Although there are many home animals in the camp, the whole area is clean.

KenyaWe had a great stay, but if the tents would have been full, then the dining area would have been rather crowded.

The kind of place that is handled with care, to make you feel comfortable. There are a few cozy and spacious permanent tents. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They arranged the game drive for me (it was awesome btw). You also have the chance to get to know local community members and learn about their traditions

Everything! The staff was incredible, very friendly, welcoming and full of interesting facts about the Maasai culture that we got to experience a bit. I truly recommend Oseki that promotes great values not just for the camp but for the entire Maasai Community

GermanyVery dark tents, some with and some without power plugs. Some have mosquito nets, others not. The matrices and bathrooms need an update. Bad value compared to the nearby lodges INSIDE the national park where you roam with the animals in the middle of the Savanah.
Very friendly people, clean

France- I didn’t like sleeping in a different hotel the first night. The replacement hotel was mediocre quality and room was unsanitary. We couldn’t sleep. Clearly it was not a “100$/night” hotel. What is more concerning is that during the checkout I had to ask for a discount for the inconvenience and poor quality of the first terrible night and the discount was only 30$.
- the food was great - the location was OK - the hike was great and interesting!
