Beautiful interior design. Lovely air conditioned rooms. Loads of different spaces to relax. Fantastic help from Jay Jay who took us to local show, boat excursion and Bora Bora. We will be back! It is paradise.

No major problems, really. Price is not low, but you get all the good things for that, it was same with other small boutique hotels.. Hot water in the shower was not always there, but it's so hot outside that you don't need it. That's it. We loved the place.

Absolutely nothing.

It was already our second stay here and we loved absolutely everything. And this despite the fact that it rained for most of our time there. Such a beautiful resort and really great value for money. All the dishes of all the meals were so delicious. The beach is just beautiful and all the palm trees and plants make it a wonderful place. And of course a huge shout out to all the incredible staff.

This part of the beach is not the most beautiful but you can walk a bit and enjoy another part.

Everything was perfect! We previously stayed in another resort in Diani but Pinewood is absolutely wonderful. Staff was professional, friendly, smiling and super helpful. Relations were great and you feel like you are friends or family. Every unit only contains 3 rooms so privacy and silence are respected. Room was fabulously decorated. We spoke to the owner to say that we were impressed by the quality of their staff and that the room was fantastic. Garden and sunbed were super relaxing. Excellent massages in the Amani Spa! Food is delicious! You can enjoy cheese, humous, barbecue, fruits are incredible. In this part of the beach you also have less beach boys so more privacy! You are a bit far than other resorts in Diani but we know that we will come back here if we go back to Diani!

pool closed at 6, average breakfast but good enough, red wine was just out of a box and they just let it sit in the heat all day, so not enjoyable. very low pressure shower.

dinner was great, beach was wonderful, rooms nice and tidy, staff were nice and pleasant.

This facility keeps what it promises! All rooms are placed in bungalows of 3 units each. The staff tries very hard to fulfill all wishes - our daughter was not only given a cake for her birthday, but also a large serenade. The restaurant alternates between main restaurant - pool - beach, so the ambiance changes daily. The equipment of the area and the rooms is adorned with many gems, which pleasantly stand out from the usual equipment souvenirs. The beach area is also very clean and even the seaweed is removed daily. A perfect hotel to find a few days of relaxation after a safari.

Breakfast was disappointing for the price of the hotel.

The location and the access to the beach were amazing and didn’t have annoying people always trying to sell you things, as in other hotels. Everyone was super nice and polite all the time. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There were some daily activities, despite there weren’t many guests at that time. Recommend and would book again.

Make sure you ask the price of the shuttle- not to have unpleasant surprise about the price- Bit far from centre if you want to do some shopping but easy to get a cab or go in a Tuktuk adventure 😅 Lots of seaweed but that’s nature lol

Staff were friendly and very helpful- doing their best to make your stay memorable- my highlight was the massage- the lady at the spa is a gem💎 - great massage- friendly and highly professional 💙- beach area was nice- quiet so perfect for solo traveller who want to avoid beach boys- Vegan will be happy there, some options are even on the menu

I liked everything.

Paradise! Small ,cosy hotel with really domestic atmosphere. Amazing design both interior and outside. Say " very friendly staff" means say nothing! Fantastic food . Empty, beautiful beach . We'll come back definitely!
