We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

KenyaI stayed here before it renamed to Primeshade. They have done quite some renovation since and the rooms are well appointed. Lovely little place and the food is fresh. They will catch a chicken for your dinner if you ask early enough. It's basic but comfortable and quiet.

Good value for money with a nice, modest breakfast and comfortable beds. A slight distance from the nicer beaches and restaurants but transport is readily available and cheap to move you around.

United KingdomDespite what Booking advertised, there was no wifi for the whole five days I stayed here. In cases like this one, I believe the property should issue a discount because I paid for a room with the internet but did not get it. I felt ripped off and lied to. If you want to cook dinner, you might have to wait until very late for the appliances to be free. There was no toilet seat on my toilet. There was no hot water. There is a severe ant infestation problem. They are the first accommodation in Kenya I'd seen without a pool.
The most terrific selling point of my room was the bed. It was massive! And very comfortable. I slept well here. The breakfast hit the spot, I enjoyed it. The staff were kind and accommodating. When I needed to return later than their usual closing time, they made an exception for me. When I asked to stay later than my check out time, they said it was ok. There is a kitchen with everything when you need to cook.

Rooms are super spacious. Cleaned to perfection. Hotel is on the highway, takes 8 minutes to town. There is a bar and grocery shop nearby. Wifi is superb. Great for work travellers. Will be back soon. It is quiet and ideal for work.

I liked everything. Large room , big bed, balcony and easy to find location. walking distance to the beach , shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful . You can even have room service and order food. The property is big , plenty space for parking and open area to sit outside. It’s in a safe location , very clean, they have even TV in the room and the price is very budget friendly . I enjoyed my stay and I will be back as soon I can .
