GermanyThe hallway doesn't really look nice/comfortable, but the hotel is doing some renovation. Wifi was also not the best. Music played until 23.30, which made it hard for me to sleep.
Sapphire has some points that are really great: the staff, the breakfast, the room/bed is comfortable, but still there is something missing to give a 10/10 feeling. Restaurant food was great and staff really friendly.

FinlandI checked in with my partner and even if I had booked for 2, no one spoke to him - just me. And then a while later a member of staff actually asked him “oh, you’re also checking in?” in a surprised voice. That felt quite rude and did not make us feel super welcome at the start.. He is local and I’m not, so I feel that had something to do with the staff being “surprised” by him staying at the hotel, unfortunately. However, everything worked well after this rocky start.
We enjoyed a quick Mombasa getaway and this hotel was great for it. It’s great value, the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very good & everything worked well. It was heavily raining and having a bar and restaurant in the hotel was a big plus, to avoid getting drenched.

KenyaI had a hard time during supper. I gave instructions on how to make my daughter's meal, since she's allergic to some food ingredients. The chef didn't get it at all. I explained it thrice, even wrote down the recipe. Still, it wasn't done right. Funny enough, it was how to make fish. Nothing complicated.
The room was immaculate! The shower actually works, with good water pressure. The air conditioning works. The breakfast was hearty! A special thank you to the staff. They went out of their way to accommodate my family.
