The hallway doesn't really look nice/comfortable, but the hotel is doing some renovation. Wifi was also not the best. Music played until 23.30, which made it hard for me to sleep.

Sapphire has some points that are really great: the staff, the breakfast, the room/bed is comfortable, but still there is something missing to give a 10/10 feeling. Restaurant food was great and staff really friendly.

One of the two lifts is exclusely reserved for directors which shows their priority is not customers. It is ridiculous to wait for a lift when there is an empty lift right in front you that you are not permitted to use

I checked in with my partner and even if I had booked for 2, no one spoke to him - just me. And then a while later a member of staff actually asked him “oh, you’re also checking in?” in a surprised voice. That felt quite rude and did not make us feel super welcome at the start.. He is local and I’m not, so I feel that had something to do with the staff being “surprised” by him staying at the hotel, unfortunately. However, everything worked well after this rocky start.

We enjoyed a quick Mombasa getaway and this hotel was great for it. It’s great value, the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very good & everything worked well. It was heavily raining and having a bar and restaurant in the hotel was a big plus, to avoid getting drenched.

One lift for 9 floors, the other reserved for the owner which meant long wait time for the lift as it was small.

It was well located, all drivers knew where it was. Room was clean, spacious and came with balcony. Wifi worked well

The hotel is very nice hotel, which has very friendly and accommodating staff. We could asked them everything and they will make sure to help wherever they could. The hotel is well located, supermarkets, local restaurants and Atms are in walking distance. It’s easy to move around by TukTuk or Uber. Everything was neat and clean.

Hotel is dated and in need of refurb. Noise from the elevator lobbies can be heard within the rooms. Bathroom door did not shut and because the bathroom faces the elevator lobbies (internal) it's not possible to air the bathroom, so it can get quite steamy.

I had a hard time during supper. I gave instructions on how to make my daughter's meal, since she's allergic to some food ingredients. The chef didn't get it at all. I explained it thrice, even wrote down the recipe. Still, it wasn't done right. Funny enough, it was how to make fish. Nothing complicated.

The room was immaculate! The shower actually works, with good water pressure. The air conditioning works. The breakfast was hearty! A special thank you to the staff. They went out of their way to accommodate my family.

AC wasn’t working throughout the night and music was blaring next to our room. Other then that it’s a great location and staff works hard to get you what you need.

There's a mosque nearby so was woken up early morning due to the call for prayers. If you prefer a proper quiet night, you won't get it here. Nothing the hotel can control though.
