The bed twin beds are not very comfy. They are small, for a tall person not ideal The duvets need to be upgraded. The shower needs to be checked. The button for changing the water to the overhead is faulty. Fumigation is necessary in such kind of a facility. Cocraockaches were on my face at night. Fighting with them on the first night justified that the beddings have not had thorough checks before.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. They assisted in getting me a genuine mechanic to check my car. The breakfast was great. The environment was exceptional The design of the house and the space felt like home.

Had an upgrade of room Convenient for walking to Karen Hub and using Uber to see the local sights. Good breakfast and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Suzanne also came up with a number of ideas for things to do and how to do them without our own car or driver. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are returning for the last night of our holiday!!

The bed was really hard, but the nice pillows helped.

We were asked the prior evening what time we would like breakfast, which was made to order by the wonderful staff. The grounds are beautiful; we enjoyed relaxing outside whenever we could.

After a warm welcome, the team did everything to make my stay as comfy as possible. Friendly and flexible! I loved the garden where birds and tree hyrax came to visit. The breakfast was a feast, with the pancakes as a highlight. If you look for a home away from home, and a perfect location for visiting Nairobi and surroundings this is the place!

The gardens have a pond, and at night there was a lot of noise. Lots of strange nature callings and little creatures that disturbed our sleep. There were also a number of mosquitoes - although we did have a mosquito net.

The service was outstanding, and it is a truly beautiful and lovely place to stay with access to pretty gardens. It is within walking distance to The Hub for shopping, and we felt incredibly safe at all times.

This guesthouse is situated in a serene green environment with a lovely garden. It is close to malls, markets and nature activities. The staff is engaging and attentive to the needs of their guests and will go out of their way to accommodate requests comfort of guests. The standard room had a comfortable bed, even for those over 1,86m! Rooms are serviced everyday and are sparkling clean. Breakfast is served at times convenient for guests and they provide a great variety of hot and cold foods. We highly recommend Spurwing Guesthouse!

The only negative note was the very cold weather in Nairobi, which affected also the temperature inside the accommodation, particularly in the dining room. The night has been ok with the provided hot water bottle.

Dinner (fish filet, French fries, vegetables) was excellent. Impressive choice of food for breakfast too. Supportive and friendly staff. I'd recommend a stay in this guesthouse.

Unfortunately the rooms feel unfinished and rough especially bathrooms with open tiles , holes in shower tiles etc.

I was charged an extra day's charge despite having revised my booking dates with booking.com. My date change was denied by the hotel saying that booking.com did not acknowledge it while booking.com put the blame squarely on the hotel.

I liked their warm hospitality and their eagerness to make us feel comfortable.
