We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

KenyaFor couples you're only given access to 500ml of drinking water in bottles. I think they should give a lot of drinking water since the Villa is a bit far away from a supermarket. They should provide a lot of drinking water.Also no televisions in their rooms

AustriaHuge room, but it seems that the villa is old, in a great condition though, but for example there was a huge gap on the balcony door, windows were also old fashioned and as a result insects but especially mosquitos can enjoy their meal without any resistance. Hopefully I was the only that I was bitten and not during night time. A huge mosquito in the size of a dinosaur bite me on daytime while I was taking a shower. I felt it so strong that I didn't believe it. Fortunately I didn't have any crazy symptoms after the bite. The faucets at the toilet were leaking if I didn't turn them off with all my strength. My partner she couldn't do it herself. The swimming pool looked dirty and I didn't see the water to be recycled like it's used to, so I didn't risk to use it. One of the main reasons I chose this property was because of the swimming pool which I didn't use. Restaurant has very very basic food. Frogs are giving a concert almost every evening until very late at night. We got lucky the second night that it wasn't so disturbing. I booked the room for 4 nights but I stayed only 2. I couldn't stay longer, I couldn't sleep. Sunlight early in the morning is coming in the room...
I paid for a standard room but I got a free upgrade of the main biggest room of the villa, which was huge and had great view to a very big and beautiful garden.

ChinaThe pool was so dirty, it had turned green. Then when they treated it, they required 48hours. A trip of 6nights and we could only swim for 3days, to me that unacceptable! The idea of having a sitting room in the corridor was not clear on the description of the house. The house flies made it impossible to eat outside. I wouldn’t recommend. I don’t know how this property is rated so high🥴
This is a self cantering facility. They have a restaurant- other meals are lovely but I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast.

The ambience was excellent the swimming pool was warm my family loved it.Nice baby pool for the children.Sunset villa close to the beautiful Diani beach just 5 minutes walk or you can use a tuk tuk.We had a late check out at no extra cost.The food was good.Thank you Danny the host ,Neema ,Chef John the guards who were always jovial and the entire team of Sunset Villa boutique .

From someone who has travelled to most countries around the world staying in many marvellous hotels, the experience of staying at this home from home hotel was special The effort the management and staff put in to make our stay just perfection The huge difference of staying in a Boutique resort with the space and privacy that made our stay special The dedicated staff who would cater to our every need. The chef John who cooked us many different ala carte meals in different romantic locations around the property The pool was so nice and welcoming and often used solely by us day time or evening and night The thatched outdoor bar hiden away in the garden that had international tv so you dont need to miss your football or favourite tv soap. The overall security from the Masai guard at the gate 24/7 to the caring staff who look after you and your belongings
