The beach is a bit far from the residence and is unsafe during late evenings and at night time. There are some bushes between the hotel and public beach hence the insecurity. The ocean water is at the brownish in colour due to a nearby river estuary.

Spacious and well air-conditioned rooms. Friendly ground staff (not management). Multiple swimming pools.

Few things didnot work. Minor issues, so nothing to wurry about. Man at the desk was not nice to our driver. He Was not offered a welcomdrink, and he got commands when he wanted us to follow for lunch! It looked as he was not welcome inside the hotel. Very disappointing!

For us it was perfect. just what was needed for a restful mini-break after a busy festive season. (it should be noted for those not familiar with this area, the hotel is on the beach which is rugged and the shoreline is some distance across the dunes )

spacious gardens, private , 2 lovely swimming pools with sun loungers , large furnished terrace. Great location for exploring Malindi. As most of the apartments in the hotel are taken up by residential long stay guests who don’t use all the facilities there is a calming peaceful atmosphere.

the stuff wasn’t prompt or well aware what’s going on, the place could be more clean! the electricity went off for 3 hours and the generator they had barely supported the lights! so no AC or fan for that long, sleeping was quite hard and annoying and they didn’t seem to care honestly when we mentioned it.

The scenery, this place is well surrounded by nature, it’s massive which gives it more lux vibes, stunning swimming pool at the entrance, perfect suites size, the decor is dreamy in the suites we stayed at.

The beach was way too far. The beach was very dirty. The hotel is huge so walking to the nearby restroom was a challenge.

The restaurant could use some work. breakfast wasn’t the best. very average but probably because it wasn’t as full

the rooms are super spacious and very comfortable. I loved their pools as well and the beach bar is awesome. they have beach parties on Thursday which are great. proximity to the beach and town is also great. loved it completely

Breakfast was very very poor and service was extremely slow, albeit the lady was very friendly and pleasant all through. The beds in apartment 208 were extremely creaky and the matresses were awful, I had a back ache all through my stay. The beds on the lower floor in 108 were great. Cleanliness is next to Godliness and the rooms and verandah’s could have been cleaner.

The property is centrally located and is very close to major landmarks. The rooms are big and well furnished. The swimming pools and gardens are clean and well maintained with courteous staff. Lunch offerings are lovely and the Coconut Prawn Curry is something else, highly recommend. Anthony and Hellen take the crown when it comes to excellent service and customer care; the beach is a bit of a walk but when you get to it, it is very clean though it appears to be a part of the Bermuda Triangle where all vessels choose to get stranded, quite eerie. The welcome drink and check in process was great…

Breakfast was very poor in n .To go to the beach it is far. I booked a sea view and it wasn't . The owner was very Rude and arrogant with all of us. At the end of our stay she tried to apologize but it was too late for that .Maybe that is why the resort was empty.

The villa was amazing and so unique .Rooms very big and comfy beds.Showers with hot water .

Outside of the hotel was busy with heavy traffic. Due to covid may places closed

The staff are not forthcoming starting from the Overall Manager. It appears you really have to look for staff to attend to you in the areas shared by all guests. The service level need to be improved

Long walk to our villa, a golf cart option would’ve been great 🤗

The staff were super helpful and Maurice so ho was assigned to the villa we stayed at saw to it that we were as comfortable as count be.

Service not much organized (reception, breakfast attendants, room service). All thing improvable and that is why we point it out here to show also that the management had quick response when involved: 1- I received an upgrade very welcoming, but the room wasn't assessed prior to assign it, so we had issues with the AC for three nights out of five. Effort was quickly done by directors only when I called them after notified to reception for three days. Hence reception and internal communication not the best. 2- By the second day until 4th day there weren't enough dishes to collect the breakfast offered. Yogurt under the sun without ice. On 5th day there was an improvement. 3- there was a great hot and humidity during my stay. No chance to dry the room towels quickly, but the towels have been not changed until the third day and when requested, the answer was that they changed after 3 days only. It should be evaluated also the weather situation for hygiene purposes, as there is no chance to dry it. I imagine for those staying longer.

Having cleaning staff around most of the day didn’t allow for much privacy, would have preferred less cleaning. Beach was not great, much better a few kilometers south. The hotel does provide free shuttle to a nice beach, which was nice. Restaurant was not very impressive, preferred going out for lunch and dinner.

Helpful staff, very beautiful property. Loved having our private pool.
