Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

had a wonderful time at the social house. The staff were great, the pillows and beds were super comfy, the restaurants were lovely and very convenient to have and as a solo traveller it was one of the most secure hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. My stay was great and I'll definitely be back. A special thanks to Faridah who was always so willing to help when I had questions and checked in to make sure I was having a great stay. When I'm back in Nairobi, I'll be going back to the social house without a doubt.

Breakfast was probably the best I had in Nairobi, it included freshly squeezed juice made to order and proper cafe style coffee. Beds and pillows were nice, as well as the shower.
