The bar was noisy until 2 or 3am so best bring earplugs. There are many mosquitos in the bar/restaurant area so bring a strong repellent.

The facilities are great especially the spa. I strongly recommend getting a back massage from Liz. The better rooms are spacious and have airco and a fridge.

Not flexible with the menu, fruits only came with full granola-breakfast menu, for example. I was ill and had to rest but construction works and the bar area were a little loud.

Staff is not helpful, flush is broken, they don't change sheets or make your bed every Day/periodically- only when you leave or someone new comes- only then they put the bedsheets, stuff is rundown and old, locker handle can hurt your hand, staff just wants to sell you more stuff and they charge a lot though it's not a compulsion to buy from them, I heard that the food is not good from my roommate, cocktails are not strong and they charge you more to make it strong, staff gives wrong directions to the beach plus they didn't tell us about the curfew,

Pool was not clean, room could be cleaner and in better condition, needed work in the rooms, bed and mattress, more sheets, sewerage smell outside the room, kitchen was not very hygienic.

There was a great vibe, good outdoor facilities, nice lappa and communal spaces, bar and food. Very friendly staff, Tom was a great barman.

- The restaurant does not have much of a drink offer, and I found breakfast too expensive for what they served me. - In the common area there were some failures with the fans and some plugs. - The cleaning service was a little lacking, I had to ask twice to add toilet paper in the bathroom. - The shower inside the room didn't have much pressure so I decided to use the shared outdoor bathroom which had a better shower.

The pool was not bad, it was a bit dirty, but clean if you compare it to the other facilities. Breakfast was not included in the price and the bedroom was dirty. The sheets had stains and the room had a balcony which was shared with other rooms (not privacy at all). In addition, there was only 1 toilet and bathroom (all in the same room) for all the hostel (even for the guests who only went to had a drink to the terrace disco (yes, there was a disco in the rooftop and it was open for everybody, not only for the hostel guests), so you had to share the toilet with the drunk people who were partying at the disco....

We went to that hostel because we had just arrived in Mombassa and it was the cheapest thing we found...so the only thing we liked was the price.

The grounds and facilities are a little bit unkempt. they seem to have more than enough staff but they staff need to do a better job maintaining the place.

Great location near Nyali center and it s easy to have it as a base to explore more of the surrounding area. Food is available 24/7 and the beach is closeby.

You have to appreciate this is really a backpackers hostel with shared bathrooms as opposed to a hotel. The facilities are basic but it is very cheap so ideal for its intended purpose. The menu is also very basic but, once again, this is not a place you would expect 4 star fine dining, why would you?

Staff are lovely and it is exactly as advertised. There is a pool and nice bar area.

Whatever the price, we should be able to sleep without being woken up every two hours by dogs, we should have water to take a shower and we should not find a cockroach in our room

The place is cool! The staff is present, the facilities are correct: swimming pool, billiards, table football, beach volleyball. All this for a fair price !
