only wish if they could let people swim at night due the weather it's always hot and humid. the utensils are starting to rust because of the salty water I believe. the location is not close to the beach

The place was a little hard to find and the beach is a bit of a walk away. The locals can help with shortcuts or Bakari can order you a tuk tuk so it wasnt too bad.

The apartments are very nice and homely. The staff are super helpful and friendly, led by the manager Bakari. Viata is available to assist by phone.

* ELECTRICITY - we had a misunderstaning concerning it, as Booking.com did not inform us that it is countable. It means, when you reach the limit, you have to recharge for 1500KES. Since Booking did not inform us, the manager agreed to release us from the payment, yet Please be careful while reserving. *The set of cosmetics included only soap, no shampoo etc.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful, trying to satisfy all of our wishes. Hotel is new, well-equipped, with clean, nice swimming pool, surrounded by green. * GUARD - the whole object is guarded 24/7. * BREAKFAST - it is served within specific hours to your room, so if you want to leave early (for example we went diving), they may leave you products in the fridge in the evening. * GREEN SCENERY - around you may find beautiful baobab trees, palms etc. !!! Mind LOCATION - Please check it on Booking.com before you come. We used Google Maps and they show another hotel in the middle of Diani, which also belongs to the same owner, but is located quite far from this one. Also, Kongo River is quite far from Diani center; if you want to go shopping, you should have a tuk-tuk (about 10mins drive). The beach is located 10-15 mins walk from the hotel.

Mudroad in front of the hotel, very sketchy if you want to go out at night since it's difficult to find taxi instead of tuk tuk.

There were some animals in the apartment but that’s normal as it is in the country side a little. Everything was extremly clean in the morning and breakfast was delicious

Swimming in the pool was also great and they were so kind to let us swim at night even if we didn’t know it wasn’t possible Also they picked and saved us at night while we were escaping from another shifty hostel. So perfect reception and place. We are sad to leave it

One night we had a Nationwide blackout, it would be nice for the place to have a generator for such unlikely events.

Joyce was very kind, she organized airport pick-ups and a drop-off for us. The drivers were on time. The place was very clean, the caretakers were very kind always serving with a smile! Such a gem! The place was close to the town and the beach, it was very quiet. surely we enjoyed our stay. Joyce organized trips to places we wanted to visit including Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. We had a night flight, they allowed us to check out later than the usual check-out time. Kindness was served to us in abundance.

To be honest, there was not that much to complain about. If you compare the value you get for the money you pay, then it is a perfect match. The staff was just friendly and attentive, the few issues we had were solved as quick as possible. The free drinking water supply, the breakfast every morning, and basically everything else made our vacation a stressless stay.

The path from Diani beach road to the apartment is long and rough.

You may need to use the tuktuk(autoricksaw) to travel between places as the location of the apartment is not near to the road.

Aircon in the bedroom wasn't cold. Very hot to sleep with a fan if you're not used to Diani temperatures.
