I like the location walking distance to the village and beaches , comfortable bed , clean swimming pool, good breakfast but most of all the staff was amazing -asante sana Silvestr :-) Will recommend this place to everyone :-)

The property is beautiful and well located near restaurants, shopping, banks and beaches. The rooms are very spacious and well decorated. There is a kitchenette with everything you need to prepare meals. The breakfast is great, with many choices. The swimming pool with lounge chairs is a wonderful place to relax. The staff is all wonderful as well as kind and helpful. ! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

We had a little inconvenience with the laundry. But apart from that everything was perfect.

Everything was excellent, starting from the staff who was very attentive to everything we needed during our stay. They upgraded us to the suite, they gave us suggestions on the surroundings and prepared amazing breakfast. The hotel itself is located in a perfect spot as it is at walking distance from bars and restaurants in the heart of Watamu. And you can always get a tuk tuk to go anywhere.

Solana is a really great place to stay! My partner and I were there for 6 days. Its very comfortable and clean, lovely decoration, big rooms and everything you need from reliable wifi, AC, good shower and lovely furniture. The best thing though was the hospitality of the staff and the location. Its a short walk to the beach and it's surrounded by restaurants ( best gelato place 2 minutes walk away) and shops but doesn't get loud at night. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place.

AC was a little funky, turning on \ off randomly, but we didn't even ask about it as it wasn't a big issue.

Warm welcome and very friendly staff. Location very central and it is very easy to get anywhere. Supermarket, banks, restaurants, and beach all within walking distance. Staff very considerate in allowing access to the room even with delayed departure. Clean and cosy room. Generous breakfast portions.

The bathroom was draining slowly creating a mini flood while taking a shower. Also, shower gel would be ideal replacement with the mini bar soaps

The rooms were excellent, having lots of space and everything I needed. The bed was good quality and the flow and temperature of the shower were excellent. The place is very secure and quiet in the evening. The hosts were particularly helpful and supplied breakfast for us at 5:30 when we left early to visit the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest. Overall and excellent place to stay.

The service was fantastic, every care taken by staff from top to bottom to ensure my stay was a good one, with attention to detail along the way without exception. The staff are both courteous and attentive, the environment pleasant and comfortable and the surroundings friendly. This is the accommodation you dream of finding yet seldom do and most certainly one I would not hesitate to revisit.

The property is on a busy street and it can be a bit noisy, but of course that is to be expected when you're not at a pricey beachfront resort. Bring your own coffeemaker or go to a nearby resto for coffee if you want that (although I didn't ask, maybe they have French presses available?) Overall it was a really nice place!

Comfortable and pretty, clean place, with very kind and polite staff, a small pool, and a lovely apartment kitchenette setup. The grocery store is a few steps away, as well as the pathway to the beach and of course small shops, restaurants and gelato shops all around.
