Cleanliness of the rooms could be better...the mats were dirty and a little bit of dust on surfaces.

The rooms need to be upgraded. Bed sheets don’t fit well and mattress was torn. Sink and rooms need more cleaning …

Right on the Bamburi beach and like the African style but has issues with it. Management team are spectacular and willing to find ways to help if you have any issues Breakfast is very African so don’t expect European breakfast but they offer any kind of eggs you desire Veranda overlooking the Indian Ocean is fantastic

The bed/mattress was very run down and needs replacement. The rooms fronting the Beach can be pretty noisy, especially on the ground floor and first floor. Breakfast is prepared right in front of the windows in the restaurant area, sometimes music plays in that can be quite disturbing. If you are looking for a quite place, better take a garden room or 2nd 3rd floor beach front.

Nice team and Manager. Easy help and solution when something is needed. Top location next to the beach. Nice interior - all self-made furniture provides a super cosy feeling.

Food was only vegetarian. Breakfast eggs had alot of salt and sometimes were overcooked. the wonderful shell sink in the bathroom needs to be scrubbed, so that it will shine properly and the glue-like substance on it should be cleaned off.

Room had a very nice view. The A/C was great. Management and staff were kind.

Wifi was quite weak and there were a couple of small issues with room facilities - ie smart TV didn't work as not sufficient WiFi, low pressure on sink taps and bathhouse slat windows didn't close properly.

Authentic African feel with lots of handmade furniture and really delicious vegetarian food. The location is also fabulous.

No proper soap and shampoo available in bathroom / shower. The existing soap dispenser was filled with something closer to hand sanitary disinfectant and smelling bad. The shower's water temperature was only tempered (no hot water). OK for refreshing but it would be nicer to have the choice ;)

The wifi didn’t work and we didn’t have hot water in our room. There was construction taking place (although not too disturbing and the workers were lovely) and the staff could have been more helpful.

Beautiful relaxing stay with direct access to the beach. Nice vegetarian restaurant with good prices. Great music in the evening!

Perfect location, loved the decor and vibe. Directly beachfront with nice gardens, the view from the room was incredible. I really enjoyed the food, very delicious, the menu was veg and predominantly Indian. The availability of some spice and chili would be great

1. Reception had issues with internet at checkin, and then was unstaffed at 8.15 as we were leaving for the airport. Payment and checkout therefore became a problem. 2. Breakfast was included in the rate, but were were informed at check-in only it was not available until 8am. At 8.10 it was still not available, and we had to leave for the airport. This is totally unaccetable. 3. Loud musinc from the neigboring room in both the late evening and early morning was also not policed and did not make for a relaxing stay. 4. Restaurant appeared to be closed despite us being informed it was open, and was only serving vegetarian in any case.

Rooms were okay and reasonable value. The pool area was nice enough and the location beside the beach was fantastic.

The room is dated in places and needs upgrading. For example shower heads and taps. Hand and bodywash holders were not working either (though there was soap). One electric socket was not working but others were working fine. However, despite all that we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. I loved the African themed decor. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (they are the greatest asset to this establishment). The room was very nice and cool, and the AC worked perfectly. There was a beautiful sitting area at the front of the room with comfy seats and a swing which is perfect for just outdoor chat. The windows are secured against insects and mosquitos. Whilst mosquito nets were provided, I did not hear or see any mosquitos Indoors.

Shower is getting all bathroom wet, maybe it should be adjusted somehow. In the night there were some "scratching" noise coming from furniture (like termites ?!?). Mattress not very comfortable. Not amazed by breakfast, the international choice was little, just some bread and jam. They make omelette but not crepes. Staff didn't help with luggage.

Beach front room, amazing. You can see sunrise from your balcony. The style is quite rustic, the room furniture is wooden and a little old. It has charme. They have AC. Staff was very nice and helpful. The pool is amazing. The hotel is on the beach, from restaurant you can go jump in the sea.
