Clean, Friendly and excellent location. If you are staying for longer you can cook your own, the supermarket is accross the road 24h, so its excellent for even long stayer.

Location, location, location!!! The Compasses location is ideal, situated in a vibrant neighborhood that offers both the tranquility of local life and easy access to Bishkek's main attractions. English language was a bit challenging

This is Great Place to Stay, Very Neat and clean, everything was perfect, Coffee shop downstairs, strong Wifi Breakfast was included Almost in city center, 15-20 minutes walk all the city center points can be reachable

It's more expensive than the rest in Bishkek. The private room had no window and was a bit overpriced I thought. Not a huge amount of hostel atmosphere either.

Dorm bed was very comfortable, great location downtown near Moskovskaya and nice bars and cafes. Altynai on reception was very helpful to me when I had an injured foot/and with calling me taxis etc too.

The breakfast was basic

see below. It was a good place to stay and I would return there. A big plus was the cafe next door which maybe part of the hostel. It had an outdoor terrace, good food and coffee and an English menu. Their breakfast would have been better but they don't open until 11am.

Altynai is one of the most helpful and kind receptionist I've ever met. She helped me with everything I needed and made clear explanations. There's a room to leave your baggage after check out and claim back. The location of the hostel is really great. The design of the entrance hall is a nice blend of the modern and the traditional. Chilling there was quite comfortable. There's also enough space outdoors to have some coffee and smoke. The breakfast room is also designed well and there's everything you need to help yourself. The breakfast was also not bad.

The upper beds don’t have curtains and the lockers were in terrible condition

The lower beds were very comfortable, had curtains and the breakfast was great. Location is also pretty close to the city center

The staff member who checked me in wasn't the most friendly or hospitable, maybe a little language barrier maybe? Booking.com said to pay in dollars, but they didn't take small dollars (which would be needed to pay the value), and don't take Mastercard. So have adequate som or pay by visa. Breakfast wasn't amazing. Was hardly anyone in the hotel to make friends with. Tried messaging the day before to organise a taxi pick up from the airport (which they said they could do in an earlier message, but never got a reply so had to make my own way).

Really nice hostel, modern, with comfy beds, curtains on lower bunks (would be good to have on top bunks too), good bathroom facilities, and a wonderful coffee shop next door. Was able to change my dates last minute.

Not much tour information available from this hostel. The transfer option to bus station is on the high side, even the receptionist advised me to take taxi from the street. (It does not really cater for budget traveller)

It is located near the Tsum Mall, shopping area, and the cafe/restaurant street nearby. And walking distance to the square area. (Of course a bit far from the bus station) And there is a cafe right next to the hotel which is very handy. The receptionist is quite helpful. The bed and room were clean and comfortable.

This was probably the nicest hostel I'd ever stayed at on my trip to Central Asia. There was like 9 guest rooms and a separate full bathroom (toilet, sink, shower) for each one that was accessible from a common hallway. There was always a bathroom\shower available when you needed it.
