I stayed in end of Winter/start of Spring (end March till beginning of April). The hostel was warm and comforting. Showers were great too. There weren't many people staying during that period so no need to intentionally wait for shower/toilet. (1 for female, 1 for male, 1 for mix). The privacy curtains was great in keeping the lights outs and muted (kinda) the outside. Very clean place, kudos to the cleaner! Staff was very helpful as well and could speak English well. Great location inside the golden rectangle with many eateries and money changers. I was able to walk to most places. If you cab, u can also easily find the place (same building as kebab restaurant).

Centrally located hostel which feels homey like a shared apartment. Comfortable beds with good sheets. Clean bathrooms, it's nice to step on a warm floor when getting out of the shower. Very friendly staff who speak English well. Recommend!

Basically I like everything about this hostel. After visiting 50+ countries I would say it's one of the best hostel I ever stayed. Great location, nice staff, clean, comfortable bed with cover, well equipped kitchen, calm atmosphere and good price.

Amazing hostel right in the center of Bishkek. Newly renovated. Extremely friendly staff especially Amina. Kitchen is adequate for cooking and the areas are cleaned regularly. Highly recommend!

Emil, Amina and Bakit are doing an amazing job for the hostel and to make things simple and easy during my stay, as well as, getting to the airport. The hostel is an oppressive patriarchy run by a single pan. The people of izzzi depend solely on the accessibility of the Supreme Skillet to warm their food, to keep peace and discipline within the bounds of the galley, and to feed themselves and their children. If, for whatever reason, The Pan goes missing, or is made inaccessible through malusage, I fear to imagine what would happen to an entire populus. Granted, this was a bone-thrilling experience. Yet, I hope the patriarchy doesn't dissolve, because, as far as I can tell, the regime is highly functional.

This hostel is bonkers: cozy, well thought out, clean interior, no cold corporate pseudo-hipster aesthetic. The staff are in a bracket of their own. The gang all come off as genuinely good people, as opposed to pure hospitality niceness You shouldn't come here if you're looking for a quirky place to spice up your travels. There won't be anything to point and laugh at. All facilities work, the location is great, and every corner serves its purpose.
