“This is an oasis in Kampote, the free tuktuk into town is a real bonus, it wasn't available once and they just called another at no charge. Very quiet and had pool to ourselves most of the time. Staff all lovely & helpful. Organised a tuktuk for the day $20 - took us to Kep, various stops, Matt was lovely and lives in the same road. Would definately stay here again.”
“Eden is a fantastic retreat about a 10-minute rickshaw ride outside of Kampot. The guesthouse is very basic with facilities such as compostable toilets, but the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is great being so close to nature and helping fund a sustainable guesthouse”
“Lovely local staff. Decent food. Room was big and airy, just shame about cleanliness. Hadn’t been hoovered properly or wiped down in a long time. Doesn’t help the roof drops little bits around the place but still. Facilities good but bit outdated. Could do with some TLC! For the price it’s great and nice calm atmosphere.”
“I don't usually leave reviews, but I loved everything - really friendly staff, location with wonderful surrounding views from the roof, great Western and local food that is reasonably priced, perfect vibe that is social but not party. They have good themed events to bring people together like quiz nights, live music and open mic.
I stayed in a 6 bed pod dorm which was great and I even had two pillows (the first time I've ever had this).
They have so many recommendations on points of interest and restaurants.
Reasonably priced motorbike hire and nice pool.
Very comfy beds, quiet rooms with AC and personal fans, security locker and they don't charge extra for towels.
I would have loved to stay longer if I had more time.
Everything I could want from a hostel!”
“amazing hotel surrounded by nature, right on the river where we spent some time swimming, room was clean and very comfortable, housekeeping team was busy cleaning the beach and facilities all day. service was spectacular, the staff was very helpful and spoke perfect English (one staff spoke a bit of French too !).”
