It is a very good location, close to everything but therefore the traffic noise in the morning is not so nice.

The room is exceptional. Good style, very clean, large and a very good bathroom area. the breakfast is maybe one of the best in Phnom Penh.

Nothing, everything was great

We had stayed here previously, 12 nights earlier. When we walked into reception, we were greeted by the lovely lady on reception who had remembered us from our previous visit. She had given us the same room, too, which was wonderful. There was also a welcome back note in our room. Lovely touch. The room was spacious, well decorated, aircon, and a balcony. The bathroom is great, with a separate bath and shower cubicle. The hotel also has a rooftop bar, with great views and a lovely atmosphere, well worth a visit. Staff are all very friendly and accommodating.

No great criticism of the hotel but sadly will be our last visit to Phnom Penh, the huge increase in very large 4x 4 cars that all park on the pavement means having to walk in the road and as I know have to use a walking stick dodging traffic is a nightmare .

The Amanjaya is a beautiful old building right on the river . The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished . The staff are friendly and always helpful.

Breakfast limited for Western style. Maybe add fruit and yogurt option. You should be aware this hotel has no swimming pool but there are hotels nearby which offer Day passes. So don't dismiss this hotel for this reason. You hear some road noise at night.

Great size accommodation + shower room. Helpful staff. Central location. Good rooftop bar. Opens 5pm. 15% discount for residents.

I stayed here last year (and left a glowing review). I was nervous that my experience this time might be a disappointment after last year's excellent visit but I shouldn't have worried. Prices had gone up a bit but it it's still very good vfm and standards across the board remained at a very high level. For me, it's the rooms and location that really stand out. My room (again this time) was lovely; large, airy, very well appointed and very comfortable (and with a great river view and balcony). And the staff were, again, very helpful. I must mention manager Ms Tharom and desk staff Mr Sithy and Ms Thida who all helped to make my stay so pleasurable. I should also comment on the breakfast (included in my room rate) arrangements as they may not be to everyone's taste; the restaurant is very smart, and there is excellent and professional table service (no buffet) with a menu which includes a range of delicious Asian dishes but only has limited 'western' options. A very highly recommended hotel.

The room is not soundproof or double-glassed.

The room was big, and the location was great. The rooftop bar is also nice; however, as they use the same entrance as the public, guests sometimes have to wait for a lift during busy times or some cruise groups arrive simultaneously.

Minor criticism in that the hotel's room information refers to the use of a business centre or similar. Didn't have. Some might find the location rather noisy but didn't affect me.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in anywhere. On a par with a 5 star hotel in Warsaw and a couple of other hotels in Hong Kong and USA. It was that good! And well above some 4/5 star hotels. Staff were great. Room was superb.
