The accommodation sadly needs to sort its relationship with the next door bar/club. On our first night very loud music was playing until 5am. On our second night, past midnight. When we mentioned this on the second day we were told the bar had to stop music at 11am and we just needed to tell the security guard. Although I feel this shouldn’t really be the guests’ job, the second night showed that the bar owners didn’t respond to any requests from security. The issue is the music has a deep bass which vibrates the room and bypasses the (kindly) provided ear plugs from the hotel. It’s such a shame as this night time disturbance is the opposite of the very lovely laid back atmosphere of the hotel during the day. I hope this gets resolved.

Not in the very center of Battambang but still accessible by tuktuk or at 15 minutes walking distance from the city center. A bit noisy in the evening because of a neighbouring bar/restaurant but earplugs were available in the room so this did not harmed our sleep!

Very cosy hotel, with a limited number of rooms. The pool area is large and quiet. Good spot to have beer or a cocktail before dinner. The room is big comfortable and the shower in the bathroom is huge.

It was very,very noisy during the two nights we stayed there, (very loud music from 2 or 3 different places ( Weddings / Funerals) - so the provided earplugs helped a bit 😉 The mattress was very hard and I had several coils pushing in my back - a new mattress would help to improve.

Our Room had a beautiful view in the first floor over the pool. (Nr 14) Good food 😋 and nice and friendly Staff - they were very helpful to organize our onward journey- everything worked perfect 👍🏻 - Thanks

Nothing, I would warmly recommend this hotel!

The reception staff upgraded our room without extra charge as I preferred not to be on the ground floor,thank you very much! The room is constructed in Khmer pattern, solid wood and well designed, with a large bathroom The whole hotel architecture is lovely with a beautiful garden and a clean pool. The bar has an extensive drinks list and the cooked breakfast is superb. We also had tasty, freshly made dinner twice and it was delicious,under the moonlight, with a view over the garden. The owner is involved and everything runs smoothly.

The hot water in the shower was either scorching or cold. We worked that out only after assessing that the taps were in fact installed the wrong way around - same for the mixer in the basin hot side was cold and cold tap was hot

The breakfast was just OK but the staff were lovely and more than made up for the poached eggs :). The room, pool and bar were fabulous

Unfortunately when I was there, there were major roadworks all arounf so it was dusty and noisy. But that would have been only for a few days in mid March 2023

Breakfast would have been $7 per person which seemed a little steep so we went elsewhere. There weren’t good restaurants walking distance but you could Tuk Tuk across the bridge for food pretty easily.

Warm welcome from the delightful owner Patrick who fell in love with the town 14 years ago and settled there. He and his staff could not do enough for you. Charming colonial villa type atmosphere. Excellent location, just across the bridge to the old town. Delightful room with large walk in shower. Restaurant is supposed to be one of the best in town and we agree! Nice swimming pool. Altogether, a very good experience. Highly recommended.

the breakfast is a bit disappointing and I am not sure why you get bad sausages with breakfast when they have lovely ones on the dinner menu. on my last morning (actually 14th) I was awoken at just after 6am by screaming and shouting from the pool. the pool is not meant to be used until 8am and no one was there telling the people either to leave the pool or at least keep quiet when guests are still sleeping. really inconsiderate behaviour from the people and the hotel.

it’s very pretty, good facilities, staff are amazing. The restaurant menu is good and the food is great.

Beautiful setting tucked away off the main road that was provided a peaceful place to stay and work. The staff was exceptional and very kind. The owner makes everyone feel welcomed and was very accommodating when I needed to switch some dates of stay.

The WIFI in my room did not work, but apparently, it works in all other places. I just used it in public spaces.

The swimming pool was very good and the breakfast was also excellent.

The noise of the music of the bar next door untill 2 AM every day. Even with earplugs you can hear It.I feel that the police should ask this bar to stop playing music after 11 PM.
