Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaTwo fans in the room I stayed in struggled with the oppressive heat during my stay and when you leave room you have to take card out for power, so you renter a sweatbox. But it was super hot during my stay and I guess that is to be expected.
Loved the location, very central and plenty of food and coffee options close by and walking distance to Riverside.

ThailandNo water heater is available. The air conditioner is so small to provide a cold temperature for the room. They need to upgrade the air conditioner to a newer machine.
The location is okay if you want to travel to Siem Reap via sleeper bus. The hotel also provides bus transportation.

SpainVery difficult to find, in google maps and booking.com it looks like it is very far from its real location, which is some official building and not the hotel at all. Be carefull with that, since you'll have to walk almost 30 minutes to the real location.

Thailandroaches is the worst moment
I didn't order breakfast, so I can't rate it. The problem is roaches and ants. Especially roaches. It’s not a problem to get rid of them. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes it was noisy, as the door doesn’t close tightly. Well, there’s space between it and the floor. So guest have to be ready to see insects in their room.

VietnamRoom with no window. The property is a maze. It took us twists and turns to get to our rooms. It took me a while to finally remember the path to our room. I'm somewhat concerned about fire safety. Towels were not soft.
The location is central, near Orussey market, so we can walk to the market. (This market is even bigger than the Phnom Penh night market). To go to night market or Russian market, it took about 5 mins by tuktuk. Standard room with basic facilities (bed, table and chair, toilet with basic toiletries). The facility looked like an apartment complex in Hong Kong movie last century. Rooms were even equipped with a CRT television. The arrangement of rooms is like a maze - a surprising experience.

CanadaAfter complaining about the noisy fan, I went for the extra $5 for a/c which I couldn't get to work. I lived with the fan the second night which was liveable, using my earplugs.
No elevator but I had a room just above ground.

United KingdomMy room was right next to a main road and Cambodian windows aren't double glazed also they only had an elevator with fire exit signs pointed at it so in case of fire wait for all other guests to escape to safety while you get warm, that's Cambodian health and safety for you though
Room was spacious, clean and staff were very polite

United StatesThe room was dismal, and was charged for a double because two twin beds were crammed into a single tiny room. Hot and not comfortable.

United KingdomView from window but I was able to get more expensive room possibly with better view.
I come at 3 am and I contacted them before, they promptly answer my question about check in out of hours and all goes smooth. Hotel is good value for money (do not except luxury for 7$ per night). Location is perfect, just above bus station so I get on bus to Siem Reap form hotel without any travel. Hotel is next to busy market so there are in 2 minutes from hotel all you need, place where you can bay sim card, supermarket, many street restaurants, I feel safe when i walk around at night.
