There was no breakfast, which I was fully aware of, but I like breakfast. However, almost no hotel in the mid range in Battambang was offering same. In fairness, there were at least two restaurants very near the hotel offering breakfast. Small disposable shampoo and conditioner bottles which are environmentally unfriendly, but on the positive side the bins were lined with newspaper and not the usual plastic bags. Great idea. No safety deposit box in the room. To me given that I am moving around a lot this is important. I have marked the hotel down because of that.

Stayed here for one night of 17/02 to 18/02. After staying 2 nights in the absolutely dreadful Royal Hotel on the other side of the river, I felt like I had arrived in paradise when I entered the foyer here. Lovely heavy wooden furniture in the foyer. Very nice reception desk. Nice room with small balcony with lovely city view. Free bottled water, a great fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, an undersheet between the bedsheet and the mattress to protect the mattress from human sweat and dead skin Toiletries & non-slip tiles in the bathroom. Tiling in a wood effect in the bedroom was attractive. Fantastic value at $21 per night. Highly recommnended. If I return to Battambang I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

The staff is excellent,but i was a little disappointed with the room: yes there is a balcony but no any kind of chair there.In fact in the two single bed room there was only one ( too low ) chair for a person 175 cm tall.It wasnt either comfortable that although there was a shower cabin,most of the water spread along the bathroom.the restaurant doesnt either have bicycles for rent,sth thai i would appreciate. I didn't experience anything wrong.

The hotel is at a few minutes walk from downtown, which is good: quieter! There are various restaurants, street foods and shops around, especially a minimart right at the opposite side of the street, with friendly owners. The hotel and the (large) room were very, very clean, bed comfortable (perfect pillows), and furnitures well maintained. Good aircon. I recommend balcony rooms from which you will have a view on the monastery just near. Great value for money.

The VIP room door has problem and the staff could not fix it in a timely manner. Also, the spa in the first room was broken so we have to change room instead. The VIP has spa but does not have shower area. It was a bit inconvenient if you want to only take a shower.

This is not the hotels fault in any way. Just a heads up, there’s a really cool temple complex right outside the hotel. Sunday morning the monks were chanting and playing music very loudly for hours starting at 545am. Bring earplugs!

Great hot water. It’s a 10-15 min walk from the main area where most tourists go so it’s a bit quieter. Restaurants right outside. Large room, comfy bed and pillows. I can tell the bedding was actually washed unlike other places I have stayed.

Terrible unstable WiFi and TV-signals. Insects are to be expected in SEA, but the stream of cockroaches, beetles and ants got tiresome. Weird, sticky table surfaces made cups, saucers, pc, tablet/mobile covers, cables stick, leaving marks both in tables and units. Uncomfortable "chair" to sit on for balcony/work.

Nice size balcony with a view to a local pagoda and townscape. Laundry, grocery and street food and drinks nearby.
