The location was not the best but everything else was so good we didnt mind.

We loved this place, The staff is great. The kitchen is good. The utensils are used but what to expect? I mean its a place many people rent. We didn't find the usage a problem, everything was working fine. We had read the description wrong and though there was a sofa I could sleep in since my friend was sick (we had 1 bedroom apartment) and the sofa was not big enough but the kind staff could fix a spare roll-bed for me. It was extremply kind. The people at the gate "guards/handymen" were also very nice an acomodating even though they didnt speak english. Would absolutley recommend.

It seems all the light switches are in the living room (including the one for the bedroom, unless I was silly enough to not be able to find it). I wish a hairdryer was provided. Not big issues though, all was manageable.

The property is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, and the accommodation I had was very spacious and clean (definitely exceeded my expectation). I was on a business trip, and it was in walking distance to where I needed to be; it's a little bit away from the centre, but getting a taxi or tuk tuk was easy enough. The staff was friendly.

The main aspect of my stay at the Grand Residence that I found less than satisfactory was the decor. The style of the hotel was quite old-fashioned, which, to my personal taste, came across as slightly creepy. The aesthetic didn't resonate with my preference for a more contemporary and fresh ambiance. While some guests might appreciate the vintage charm, it wasn't to my liking. I felt it made the hotel appear outdated rather than classic, which was a minor discomfort during my stay. The decor, including the furniture and interior design, was somewhat off-putting and left me feeling unsettled. I believe that an update in decor could greatly enhance the overall atmosphere of the hotel. While it's important to retain individuality and character, the adoption of a more modern aesthetic could appeal to a broader range of guests and create a more comfortable, inviting environment. Despite this concern, it's important to note that the rest of my stay was pleasant. I commend the cleanliness of the hotel and the professionalism of the staff. However, the decor is an area I believe could benefit from improvement.

The staff at the Grand Residence also deserve a round of applause for their dedication to guest satisfaction. They were always ready with a warm smile and went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. However, my experience was somewhat dampened by the hotel's decor. The style was a bit old-fashioned and honestly, I found it slightly eerie. This is, of course, a matter of personal taste, and some guests might appreciate the antique charm. However, for me, the aesthetics were not appealing and left me feeling a bit unsettled. In light of the excellent cleanliness and commendable service provided by the hotel's staff, I would rate my stay as generally satisfactory. Nevertheless, I would encourage the management to consider updating the decor to better appeal to guests with contemporary tastes. While the current style may indeed suit some, a fresher, more modern aesthetic could make the overall ambiance more inviting and comfortable for a wider range of guests. Overall, if you are not put off by older, more unique decor styles, the Grand Residence offers a friendly, clean environment that many will find appealing. If, like me, you prefer a more modern vibe, you may want to keep the decor in mind when booking. Despite this, I found the Grand Residence to be an establishment that values cleanliness and good service, which are certainly its key strengths.

many household equipments were not working or not set for use, such as no hot water, no wifi, broken air conditioner, kitchen stove not working properly etc.

We booked a studio that was supposed to be 41sqm but it was actually no more than 20. After we strongly complained we got a bigger apartment for the remaining nights. The smell in the bathroom was some times unbearable, even though we left the window open all day. The check in process is a bit complicated and the people at the security are not the friendliest
