Phnom Penh is a messy city. But this hotel was a beautiful gem. Beautiful building, great service and delicious breakfast. As well a big shoutout to the staff. They were always friendly, ready to talk in a perfect english. Thank you so much for your kindness. Orkun!

This hidden gem exceeded my expectations in every way. The pillows provided in the room were absolutely perfect, offering a comfortable and restful night's sleep. Despite comments about the room size, I found it to be just right, especially considering the balcony that allowed me to enjoy relaxing evenings with a drink in hand. Additionally, the side lane adjacent to the hotel served as a convenient shortcut leading to a street lined with restaurants. The location was also easily accessible for Grab rides, adding to the convenience of getting around the city. Overall, La Chronique left me thoroughly impressed. In addition to the excellent accommodations, the coffee shop downstairs at La Chronique was a true highlight. The service provided throughout both the hotel and coffee shop was exceptional, leaving a lasting positive impression. I particularly enjoyed the nostalgic touch of spotting a yellow pages book (a piece we rarely sight these days !), evoking a sense of sentimentality. The combination of top-notch service, a cozy ambiance, and the nostalgic charm of the coffee shop made it an inviting space to start the day or unwind with a cup of coffee. La Chronique truly excels in providing a remarkable experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable stay in Phnom Penh.

unique property in the heart of the Russian Market area. staff is very kind, comfortable bed and relaxing cafe at the ground floor with good food and coffee. I also liked the gift shop with handmade fair trade goods.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were quite small, but we didn't spend much time in the room so happy for the bed to be the main element in there. Everything was super modern and comfortable. The hotel building itself is beautiful, old school colonial architecture vibes. The neighbourhood is great, not overly touristy but with lots of great cafes and restaurants around. Would return in a heartbeat.

one criticism of the restaurant would be the small size of the portions. another thing is we paid $15 for an airport pick up organised through the hotel and we expected a minibus or hotel car. however, the taxi that collected us didn’t have working seatbelts and was very old/unclean. other than those 2 small things everything else was great!

beautiful rooms with lots of light. the location was great - quiet with some delicious restaurants nearby (make sure you try Golden Pumpkin). the breakfast was very good with lots of options. the man on reception was super attentive and really friendly. the whole vibe of the hotel felt very up market

This property only opened last year and the design was impeccable. Details were put into designing the lobby, the rooms as well as the façade. The staff were extraordinarily! Vatha and his team made us feel very welcome.

Cute French inspired hotel. Rooms a little smaller than first anticipated - had everything we needed especially good working air con. Cafe downstairs serve good breakfast and coffee. Hotel staff very helpful in arranging private transport to siem reap (5 hr drive).

Could have more storage space - the closet in my room had no place to store my own clothes. Lack of proper desk space in my room, which was a bit inconvenient due to being on a work trip.
