Unfortunately English (or german) only really works with the owner. The rest of the staff is nice but they just lack the language. Furthermore the breakfast is only german with very few vegetarian options, it is less a local spot than one where you meet other tourists. The location is also not the most convenient or pretty spot next to a busy road. I may be picky, but this is the best rated Place around after all

Awesome room with a luxurious standard even for europeans. The View was spectacular as well. The Staff always helpful if you needed to book a scooter or get advice.

The location is not the best. However, there is a rooftop with a wonderful view. And if you like walking, it is a walking distance to the town centre (around 20 minutes on foot)

The bed was incredibly comfortable, I slept so well! The bathroom was squeaky clean and the omelette for breakfast was great.

Quiet area. Filtered water available so I didn't have to purchase bottled water. Room was cleaned when requested as I informed host I did not need my room cleaned daily. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Host arranged transport to Kep for me. He also booked an appointment with his dentist and helped with finding a pharmacy so I could purchase medication. He arranged several tuk tuk rides for me. It was only approx $3 RT for short rides to go into town for the night market and meals - it was too hot for me to walk that far. Gin & Tonics there were only $2!

The property is a 15/20 minute walk from the center of town but I enjoyed the walk and as a tuk tuk is only a dollar each way it wasn't really an issue.

Lots of breakfast options - tasty, well cooked and well priced. My room and bathroom were very spacious nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The room was well equipped with a fridge kettle a hair dryer and so forth. The owners were kind and helpful.

The laundry service did end up bleeding some of our clothes but that's it.

We have stayed at 16 places across Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand and this is the first 10/10. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was large and comfortable. They offer a laundry service and a bike rental service (they call a bike rental nearby but you don't have to pick it up or drop it off - they come to the hostel). However, the highlight of the stay was the food. Home-cooked German food for dinner and breakfast and everything was amazing (if you get to try the schnitzel and cream spinach, do it).

Only thing I’d say is that the pool wasn’t very clean so I didn’t use it. But I admit with the amount of flies around it would be hard to keep it spotless

Nothing, The place is so well run!

We stayed here 5 nights to recharge our batteries after 4 months of travelling and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The room and bed were so comfortable, spacious and bright. The pool and roof terrace were great to cool off and everything is at your disposal - scooter rental, laundry, printing service and you can book tickets for your onwards journey. The staff is really friendly and the location is fine - yes, it’s not in the city centre, but it’s an easy enough walk or a cheap tuktuk ride. But the best thing about our stay was the food. We had delicious German breakfast every morning with homemade Leberwurst, and the dinners we had here were equally amazing. The owner makes the meals all himself and clearly knows what he’s doing. We really recommend this place highly, we loved every second of our stay here.

we could only stay 1 night but everything was great for the price. we could do a late check in, room was super clean, huge comfy bed in big room, breakfast was big and tasty for a very gold price, the swimming pool is mostly on the shadow which is great! staff is really lovely too. i totalle recommend it

Little bit of a walk to the centre along a busy road, but we just got Tuk tuks from the Pass App which cost between 4000 & 5000 riel. Best to hire a scooter for 5 dollars a day.

Our hotel room was very spacious and clean, lots of windows so we had nice natural light. Really nice roof top terrace which provides a great sunset and views of the mountains, make sure to keep an eye out for the ostriches in the farm opposite the hotel. The staff were really helpful and welcoming, they printed our visas for Vietnam and helped us hire some scooters also.

The water in the swimming pool seemed to have a harsh chemical that burned my skin a bit - careful if you have sensitive skin!

The pictures of this guesthouse just don't do it justice! We had a double room on the 5th floor which was beautiful, it had windows on 3 out of 4 wall so was very bright with beautiful views. Olaf kindly upgraded our room last minute to have air-conditioning for only $3 extra per night. Good location with 15 minute walk to the centre, and had a lovely communal terrace opposite our room which we used every evening to watch the sunset and never saw another person up there! Plenty of hot water in the shower and the place felt very clean. Would recommend, no need to look elsewhere :)

The overground pool was OK but could have been a little cleaner. A bit out of town but only a few minutes and 1.25 dollar in a tuk tuk.1

Our hosts were very welcoming, friendly and willing to help with anything we asked.- booking tuk tuks into town and a very good value laundry and ironing service. The rooms and all areas of the guesthouse are very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping is available whenever you request it The rooftop terrace is a very impressive space where you can watch the world go by with great views all around. A great place to chill and have a few beers. The breakfast is VERY good - liverwurst and black bread an absolute revelation to me.- thanks Olaf.
