No aircon. It was too hot to sleep or breath in my room. The ceiling fan was noisy. The roosters crowed all night.

The room and bathroom were totally spotless My bicycle had a safe place to sleep The bed was comfy and the pillows were awesome. The convenience of the sisters restaurant across the road.

Lighting in the room could be a bit better.

Clean room, nice facilities and a very helpful owner. Could rent a bike to go around town. The property is located around 2kms from Kampong Cham town. Really nice location in the countryside.

Room was pretty simple

Very simple place, but great to connect with a more authentic family-run establishment. Wonderful views of the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop garden. Owner is so nice.

Large room, clean and comfortable. We hired a motorbike through the hotel which was good. It is in a local area a little bit out of town so you do need some form of transport. Owner was friendly, spoke french and limited english. Washing was available at the hotel. Morning market just outside the hotel is good.

If I ever visit Kampong Cham again, I won't hesitate to come back to Phalla Riverside. - Comfortable and quiet room - Friendly, helpful staff and manager - Good breakfast - Provide other useful services (rent moto, bicycle etc.)

So relaxed. Beautiful building and quaint little courtyard. Lovely location out of the way but close enough to spend 1-3 dollars on a tuk tuk into town depending on what side you go to. 100% recommend

I would have liked hot water, but the price was right withut it.

The rooms are quite large. Bikes are available for rent. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is outside of the city, but was in a lively market area anyway. Would definately come back again.

As a solo female traveller, the hospitality, concern and care of the owner, Thomas, made for a comfortable, relaxed stay. The garden is stunning and well kept and the view from the rooftop garden is just beautiful. I will definitely go and stay there again and recommend them to all who wish to visit Kampong Cham.

A bientôt e pas change! --- Thomas is a French/Cambodian gentleman running the family business, he was one of the most friendly, trustful, empathetic, genuine, clever and generous person I have meet in my life. It is difficult to mention only one thing, the guest house is just AMAZING, the terrace and patio with plenty of plants is a nice touch, as well as everything was tidy, clean and spotless! He also rent motorbike and bicycle and you can trust him 100%. --- Thomas es un señor francés-camboyano que se ve que ha vivido lo suficiente para saber el auténtico valor de la vida y las cosas. Si hablas francés, tendrás posibilidad de conocer un poco más sobre la vida en Cambodia a la vez que compartir ratos muy agradables. Es de las personas más serviciales y generosas que he conocido, obviamente no es dueño de una ONG pero cubriendo sus necesidades y las de su familia será suficiente para. The air conditioning was a bit weak and the fan a bit noisy but it was ok.

The staff is great and helpful and it's possible to get a scooter what is necessary as it is a bit far from the city center. With a motorbike, it's ok. The room was comfortable and the hotel clean and welcoming.

I picked this place because it looked big, safe and quiet. If you're a remote worker this is a very good place to stay for a few days. There is WiFi at about 20mbps but can get as much as 40-60 in certain spots on a smart SIMcard. Theres a shop right outside, scooters for rent, restaurant and small kitchen. Overall everyone around has been very helpful with everything.

Bed was pretty hard and you can hear noises from outside of the room.

Very welcoming place and nice lady how can speak English well. Gardens on taraces are very nice as well as view on the river. I would recommend this place.

The guesthouse is a little odd, without good place to hang out, besides the front area. A lot of the western style restaurants and coffee shops has not come back after corona leaving the city very “local”.

Probably one of the best options in Kampong Charm at the moment. And the place provides the basics, however it is a little outside town. The owner is very kind and is eager to help with tuctuc etc. We had a very nice tour on the island with a tuktuk recommended by the owner, seeing fields and villages.

It was a bit far from town and you had to take a tuk tuk or cycle.

The owner was very helpful. We hired bicycles and had a lovely time cycling around the area. The Phalla is right beside a local market which was interesting to visit.

be warned if on upper rooms the stairs are very steep and mean steep.. no hot water ,I like just a bit of warm water for shower. No a/c but 2 fans and there is open slats along near ceiling so not all that quiet, every rooster in village must of lived next door,

wish to say Thomas was a great host and tried to do anything you needed. but very limited english. But it is about 3,4 kms from town,its in a very village area and only really one open air cafe to eat ,only do beef soup sort of but she did do stir fried noodles for me.. really to far to town unless u pre arrange a tuk tuk or rent a motorbike which i did for 2 days to discover the countryside and temples and right on the Mekong river .
