Well, honestly, it’s time for some maintenance and repair a little. Sink was leaking, balcony door was broken, some stains on the wall…. It’s fine and not so terrible, but still…..

For the past 2 years every time I’m in Phnom Penh I choose this hotel among all others. Good value for money. Nice and clean rooms. Tasty and not expensive food in the rooftop restaurant so you don’t need to think where to eat. Plus very helpful stuff.

- (the minus are only to improve and not to criticize, the place is very good) blanket is a little too thin. The AC is very strong. So I was cold at night. The curtains on the bed are half way so people can see you sleeping.

Nothing, everything was great, especially considering what we paid.

Excellent value for money. Clean and functional. Great on site restaurant and bar. Giant Ibis bus terminal close by. Hornbill visited regularly.

Not much not to like about the place its just the right price for what u can expect

I like that it's near the river and I can just walk around to pass time. It's our second time booking this hotel and the staff are friendly too. Value for money is good

I wasn’t there for the pool, but just know it’s definitely not as big as the pictures might make it seem. It can also improve by having curtains that fully going around the beds. Also a $10 deposit is a bit steep for a stay in Cambodia. There isn’t much to do in that area of Phnom Penh either

A bit noisy at night but it is to be expected in a hostel with other fellow travelers.

We stayed at Pooltop for two nights once we arrived in Cambodia. It is well located and the food is really good. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we went back to Phnom Penh.

It is bit external issue but somehow I seen a couple doing sexual intimate activity in the bunk bed not private room!

Parking was outside on the street. Restraunt was only OK. I expected better given the reviews. I was still happy eating the food but there are many better options elsewhere.

Be aware that the pool is more like a plunge pool - not one you can actually swim lengths in.

Rooftop was nice -there is a pool, lounge chairs, a bar and it's breezy! Good location: it's close to some of the bus stops (e.g Vireak Buntham) so it's easy if you are transiting through Phnom Penh. Bottles of water in the room. Very clean and reception & bar staff were very friendly.

To say I didn’t like something would be wrong. The only thing that could be improved would be for the introduction of tea and coffee making in the room.

The staffs friendliness and their willingness to assist, nothing was too much trouble excellent. The improvement to the room facilities by the introduction of Safty deposit boxes. The staff are a real team and it’s great to see the same smiling faces every time I return.

Nice hotel considering it was relatively cheap. Food was fine and not expensive. Pool a bonus although never used as small and only 5 beds available. Room and bathroom clean. We had a balcony which was useful. Staff all very friendly.

Didn't get fresh towels/water the second day (not really necessary but got that my whole trip every day)

Room was clean and has a hot shower. Nice pooltop with great views, one day many hornbills landed around the pool. Restaurant offers good food options.

I have enjoyed my stay at this place. The staff did a fast job for the check-in and helped me arrange my bus on my last day to Siem Reap (the bus picked me up in front of the hotel and saved the journey to the bus terminal). The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. Hot water and pressure was perfect. The restaurant in the hotel was good and the service very fast. There is a nice view on the Mekong River from the rooftop. I did not use the pool but a few guests were relaxing in it and there are some chairs to enjoy the sun in front of the pool. The situation is perfect from many point of interest which you can reach by feet.
