Not sure really, as it is a downstairs room you need to close the shutters when changing clothes, making it a bit dark. Careful not to trip on the tiled lip to the bathroom.

The Rikitiki is a characterful place right on the river in the centre of Kampot. The 2 bed room was spacious with a high ceiling and local timber features that are beautiful and it was a treat to stay there. The aircon works well with the fan and keeps cool enough without feeling cold at night. Breakfast upstairs in the timber traditional style looking over the river is not to be missed.

Laid back in a very central location. Food and bar were great. Nothing too much trouble for Bora and her staff. We met the owner who was also very welcoming and accommodating. Bora went out of our way to help us locate our transport which was late on the day we were leaving. She rang the company to make sure they knew we were waiting.

Swimming pool!

This wasn't my first visit, for a reason! Like previous times, it again proved to be an excellent choice. Only thing I could add to RikiTikiTavi would be a Swimming Pool!

Air con unit in one room was not very effective, bathroom smelt very damp and bacterial and we later discovered some mould on the mirror frame. Bathroom a little cramped. There was music playing (couldn’t work out if it was the hotel itself or next door) until 11/midnight and loud banging from about 7am. For us this was ok but if you want an earlier bed or a lie in, it might be a problem.

Comfortable beds, good location, good breakfast variety, clean towels and bedding, nice breakfast area, interesting decor, good view of river, nice ambiance. Very comprehensive information booklet provided in rooms.

At first, my mattress was a little firm. However, within 30 minutes, 2 staff added another mattress pad and I slept well.

The breakfast was perfect. Eggs cooked just how I ordered them. Baguette fresh and warm. Nice fresh fruit salad. Bacon to perfection. I stayed two nights and ate ALL my meals at this restaurant. And a nice cappuccino to top it off.

Breakfast was delicious. A la carte and freshly prepared including fresh pineapple juice, cappuccino. The dining area (2nd floor rooftop) is charming, shaded, overlooks river with its interesting promenade, serves quality dinners and cocktails. The staff is welcoming, efficient, booked taxis and tuk tuk tour for us. We loved the decor, ambient lighting, comfortable bed, well maintained room and property.

Wonderful small boutique hotel right on the riverfront in Kampot and right on the historic zone. Nicely presented rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent restaurant with great food, service and views. Surely the best in the area.

It’s clean, comfortable, attractive, well located, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room. It was spacious and had everything we needed. We had a sofa, two arm chairs and a TV (which we didn’t use). There was a patio with seating as well. The twin beds were in a separate room/space from the king. We loved the decor. It was warm with distinct Cambodian touches, but modern and minimalist. Very Zen. The restaurant upstairs had good food and drinks (we only sampled nonalcoholic beverages), and it was a nice place to watch the sunset. Our room came with free breakfast, but the girls slept late so we never tried it, but we had lunch there.

Bar closed at 21:35 which is so early. Couldn’t shower without soaking entire bathroom but these are small things

Rustic Charming hotel. Comfortable large room. Good location on the river. Great value for money. You can get your breakfast at any time of the day which is unusual and a great idea. Very helpful staff. We really liked the hotel.

My room was facing a pizza place, so it was a little noisy during the day but thankfully it got quieter after 11 pm, so it didn't affect my sleep. It was not a breakfast buffet either, so you need a little time for breakfast, which I didn't have because I had a bus to catch.

The room was so lovely. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The location was great too. I would definitely stay again!

I booked a room with twin beds but was given an double bed. No other rooms were available.

Clean room with attractive décor. Within walking distance of the town centre. Pleasant restaurant looking over the river, serving good quality meals.

Nothing to dislike

Lovely hotel on the riverfront. The room was beautiful. The bar area is a great place to hang out and relax watching the world go by. The staff couldn’t be nicer
