How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff is very friendly and always available. The room was clean, comfortable, with air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and well equipped, and the pool is a perfect refresher after a hot day in the sun!

It is very hot outside, the AC is not cold.
Clean, shower and toilet is separate. Staff are attentive.

Nothing really, only thing is the hostel is in the red light district so all bars are the same vibe
The room was spacious and clean, basic but not a bad thing. The rooftop bar and pool were really nice and had a great view of the river. Staff were very friendly and helpful when booking tours.

Our favourite hostel from all of our travels. The food and drink is super yummy and significantly cheaper than other bars on the same street. Stunning rooftop view over the river. Staff really friendly and rooms and bathrooms nice and clean.

Just wasn't a fan of the vibe. Only stayed a night. The restaurant was expensive I literally would not eat there just because i thought it was way over priced. Towels not included. Not hugely social hostel, I wouldn't say you'd come here and make friends. The refill bottle water was basically the same price as buying a brand new bottle and tasted gross. Don't want to slate the place as its lovely and everywhere is clean, just felt like they could do so much more with this type of business. Shame the curtains on your bed to make it private only cover half the bed.
I loved the bathrooms. Very clean. Hairdryer. Shampoo and shower gel provided. The duvets were nice and beds were comfy. Everything is clean. Nice pool, lovely smell when you walk into the place they infuse lemongrass. Staff were very sweet.

Food in the restaurant on top was only ok and pricy
The pool was much needed. Burning hot in the city in April. Dorms were good and specious. Showers Clean and specious too

The rooms are quite old, they need some renovations. It was clean, but for the price they should really renovate them or at least do some TLC.
The hostel is super well located and the terrace has amazing views. The staff was really helpful - they can help you get buses, taxis, transfers, and even coordinate shared rides for visiting important places.

The food is not the best. Also the curtains on the beds don't close all the way, sometimes, I can feel a little weird or insecure.
I liked the hospitable staff and the clean atmosphere. The bedroom is always quiet, with Aircon on, allowing me to relax at night. The washroom is very clean. The location is accessible, near the river. The hotel also can arrange tours and packages for you, just approach them, and they give you comprehensive outlook of it. There are tables with sockets on the side, very friendly for those who are work & travelling!!

The shower looked horrible... The shower curtain was dirty and the walls of the shower were covered in mold. It kinda ruined my experience with this place. I wouldn't stay there again because I didn't feel clean in the shower.
The location of this hostel is great! Everything is close. Rooftop pool is a pretty cool spot to chill. Breakfast was a bit overpriced and not so tasty. However, the dinner was delicious!

Amazing value for money, LOVED the restaurant and pool area it was really modern, classy and clean. Staff were also so lovely and kind, always saying hello and with a smile on their face which makes a big difference for us solo backpackers :) would reccomend to anyone.

Really cool hostel in Phnom Penh! I can't wait to stay here again when I go back to visit. It was impeccably clean and comfortable and the rooftop was great too to watch the sunset! Great location and super nice staff. I left my passport in my previous hostel and they still let me check in with a photo of my passport on my phone.

Possibly the only good thing I had in Phnom Penh was staying at this hostel. Rooftop pool and restaurant are great. However, the menu is very westernized and a little expensive.

I had a very nice Single room in the Hostel close to the Pool. It was so clean and comfortable and the staff is amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here!
