Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location is perfect and price is reasonable. Room size is big enough, there is also shower and spa. You can really relax there. My family always choose this hotel during trips.

I really love the staff. They're very accommodating for my demands and even when I rebook our stay for the last minute because of the emergency that happen in my family. They allow me to rebook it for a minimal fee. My child really loves the large bath tub. I recommend this hotel 🥰🥰🥰

South KoreaThe bed was rock solid, extremely uncomfortable. The room wasnt clean, there was food down the side of the bed, rubbish behind the sink, and a plaster on the bath. There was a toiletries pack with condoms in so seems like a love hotel to me. There was a small range of hair brushes, but each had been used and uncleaned as there was still hair in them. The handle to the bathroom was broken, half hanging off. Some of the plug sockets were also loose from the wall with exposed cables, it has been 'fixed' with some tape which didnt stick. The air con unit also started to make a funny noise which when I mentioned to the staff they were very quick to get it 'fixed' by hitting it and trying to sit it in a hole in the wall. The whole hotel was rather dark, even with the lights on, it wasnt bright.
The pillow's were comfortable, the TV was big and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good, nicely situated from the beach and cable car station.

United StatesThe bed had a heater in it and I didn’t not know how to turn it off. I was burning up all night. The bed was a little bit too hard. The pillows were good though.
The staff was very helpful and I liked the location of the hotel. The bathroom was nice however the shower head did not work very well. The water was only coking out a few holes.
