One of the greatest places we have ever been. Marvellous view on the sea, the only sound you hear are the waves, a special experience to sit in the whirlpool on the balcony with its fantastic view and a very friendly host who really cares about her guests-we even got a delicious dinner from her on one evening. Close to a beautiful beach.

Everything was good. As I said we hired a car from Busan because of other people’s recommendations and if you didn’t have a car it would be a bit limiting on where you could go

The view was amazing!! We really enjoyed the location because it was quiet and relaxing. Would recommend hiring a car. There’s a really cute cafe near by if you want to get good coffee but the pension also provides coffee and you have private kitchen facilities. We cooked one night and looked over the beautiful ocean. The owner is really helpful and gives you tips for local places to eat.

The hostess made great efforts to communicate with us, give us recommendation for dining and recreation and met every request we made. We speak no Korean and she spoke very little English but she made this easy with her phone. She was extraordinary in helping me with some laundry as this was the mid-point of our trip and we needed our clothes refreshed. I cannot say enough nice things about her. The view from our room was spectacular! An odd thing to highlight but I thought the shower in our room felt great. The cafe right up the hill was a special place for breakfast. My favorite was the pumpkin latte!

You need a car to reach Arasol.

Wonderful host who is very helpful and proactive. We didn't want to drive out in the night to eat dinner, she offered to help order fried chicken delivery. She is responsive and replies messages very quickly through booking.com. The view from the room is amazing and even better with a jacuzzi. There are cooking utensils available in the room and even a bbq area on site. Lovely relaxing place with a charming Yoodol cafe ( with a great view) 1 min drive away. Gujora Beach and cruise terminal is only 4min drive away.

No fault of the property itself but we didn't have a car, and the buses are few and far between (e.g. 4 a day), so our days were very dependent on the bus times! We stayed during the end of October so it was lovely and quiet everywhere but we found we would end our days out at dinner in Geoje city in the north of the island, as more restaurants were opened there, then would have to taxi it back which wasn't a problem. Make sure you get bus timetables from the local website, and check the last bus times at the places you visit etc to plan your days accordingly! It did feel a sense of achievement getting around the island to time, especially as we don't speak Korean, and English is not widely used here like other areas in Korea! (There is no live bus tracking on Naver Maps app). Don't let the limited buses put you off, you just need to be a little more organised. We get spoilt with city living! We managed it just organising each day the night before! The island and its southern coast is worth it!

Beautiful ocean view with hot tub on the balcony made for a relaxing stay after a day of hiking around the gorgeous island. Owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming, (via translation apps!) offered to make us gimbap on our arrival and on other days. We were left alone during our stay which we appreciated, with fresh towels left on the door for us. Fast communication via the booking.com account messaging system if we needed to make contact with them. The pension is located on the south coast in between two beaches which were both walkable distances. The entire coast is just beautiful, so the pension is a great place to be located. On arrival, we got a taxi from Geoje bus station, the driver rang the property to double check location, then the owner was waiting for us at the property. On departure, the owners called a local taxi for us to get back up to the bus station. They were so friendly and welcoming. A great stay, very comfortable and clean. Would recommend, and would stay here again.

This is a special place with views unlike any other lodging on the island. It overlooks a small island called Yoondol and there is a beautiful cafe (1 min walk) at the end of a small street that celebrates the view. The street is lined with a few other pensions and the hike down to the water from the cafe is spectacular. There are beaches and lots to do on either direction of the island from this Yoondol Village. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable with crisp white linens, and the whole place is well-maintained and extremely clean. The hosts are wonderful, responsive, and thoughtful. And yes, the spa baths are absolutely worth it.

Nothing but you do need a car on Geoje Island for travelers hoping to take taxis around

Best views on the island with spa baths in each room. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, with crisp linens and towels. Location was perfect with many food and market options as well as beaches minutes away by car. This pension is on the end of a short charming street lined with a few other pensions and it feels festive and cozy at the same time. The best coffee shop in the area is a minute walk up this street. The hosts are incredible — responsive and friendly. They went above and beyond with recommendations, travel tips, and helping with transportations and more. After spending a week exploring the island, would not stay anywhere else but here next time.

I recommend driving as public transport is hard to come by at times.

The view is phenomenal! The accommodation is beautiful and well maintained, and the owners are the loveliest people. They went above and beyond to help me have the best stay and make me feel welcome. I look forward to visiting again. I can't recommend this pension more. Just go ahead and book it! You won't regret it.
