Czech Republic8 reviewsExceptionalWe planned to arrive there in the evening, and went to Daedunsan in the next morning, so the location is excellent. It just next to the cable car. The rooms were big and clean, beds were comfortable. Staffs are nice and friendly. You can have half-price for their sauna.

Good proximity to attractions and local food. Winter stay meant less shops were open.

Amazing location right at the base of the trails & path to the cable car. The staff were very kind & helpful, and having the sauna in the basement for 4500 won (if you stay at the hotel) was the absolute best!!!! 50,000 won cash for a one hour scrub & massage at the sauna, just wish it was open later cause I wanted to go every night! Loved the sort of kitschy rock collection art in the lobby too, and loads of restaurants with local specialities within a minute’s walk.

The bottle water was not chilled and there was only one bottle per person and the staff would not provide any additional water without charge. When I was leaving, the entry/exit gate said I owed 20,000₩ and would not open. I had to park the vehicle and go back inside to the registration desk to get the exit gate opened.
Really liked the full size bath towels. The Korean breakfast was excellent. I didn't try the American breakfast because the photo only showed one egg and what appeared to be a cooked hot dog with toast. Really need to provide a written explanation of what will be served for the price.

United Kingdom16 reviews3 helpful votes“Less than the sum of its parts.”Unfortunately although it looks the part and contains all the right ingredients, they don’t really work well together. Our dealings with Koreans have been universally great elsewhere, everybody seemed eager to please, but that wasn’t the impression we got from the receptionist or the restaurant. WiFi was hopelessly unreliable. I used cellular data instead, but it was slower in that area than in other places we stayed in. The bed was very firm and the bed sheet was ripped at the side. Breakfast was disappointing. We were led to believe that breakfast is cooked to order, but significant parts of both the Korean and American breakfasts seemed to have been kept warm for too long before being served. One glass of water was poured by the waiter, after that I needed to work out where in the dining room there was a jug of water so that I could help myself to a second glass. The waiter was hardly to be seen, even though there were no more than a tiny handful of other diners. In a sense, the hotel appeared to tick the right boxes, but their heart wasn’t in it and it just didn’t work like a hotel of that calibre should work. It has the potential to be a great hotel, but it delivered a sub-par experience with too many aspects not being good enough.
Good location. It’s a modern, well equipped building. Large car park.
