The fact that reception closed at 11pm. Unfortunately my flight was delayed so bit of a panic. However did email the hotel and 10 minutes later a kind female staff member let me in.

The staff were amazing. Super helpful, friendly and respectful. Wished I had booked earlier for last 3 days before flight back to NZ.

Perfect location spot, near to subway and bus stations, near city centre and many city landmarks. Very close to many convenient stores and everyday event spots. All hotel crew was extremely nice, kind and always willing to help and guide us! Definitely I would like to come back one day! Strongly recommend the HOTEL FIRSTSTAY!!!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was just fantastic as we're the staff. I liked the availability of bottled water and a washer and dryer. The only reason I didn't rate higher was because it didn't feel very clean. It wasn't dirty but just not as clean as it could be. The bathtub was a little stained, the towels didn't feel fresh (they were washed but not fresh) and the common areas needed a vacuum. Not the biggest concern just to be transparent for other travellers. Again the staff and location were spot on! The room was fine for all 4 of us.

The sheets on my bed had some stains on it, and the bath in the bathroom wasn't very clean either. I could definitely hear other guests in nearby rooms, but the hotel does have the policy of keeping quiet from 10 or 11 PM, and you can contact them if you experience any nuisance.

Staff was very friendly, the room was a decent size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was good. The location is amazing; almost next to the bus stop and close to the metro as well. And it's in Myeongdong, so there is always shops, restaurants, sights, and fun activities nearby! There is also a nice roof terrace and lounge, which are freely accessible at all times.

A very central location and the area is bustling with activity; the hotel was very comfortable, the room was spotless clean, including the bathroom; with a rooftop kitchen area with a kettle, a microwave, utensils and a small lounge area. You could also do self-service laundry. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we even got a tiny farewell gift (energy drink) and we could for free leave our luggage secure after we checked out. Also the hotel is small and homey, which was great, so it felt personal unlike huge hotels.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with my best friend, the location was very convenient being close to the subway and cab station. The staff was incredibly helpful, giving us lots of restaurant suggestions and even taking the time to accompany us and help us with the Korean menu. Everyone was always smiling, friendly, polite and ready to get to know their guests better. A place I would highly recommend, run by young people ready to find a solution to any problem or inconvenience.

Great location! The subway station is conveniently close to the hotel, just a few minutes away on foot. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and always willing to assist. Place was central in Seoul perfect location, for shopping exploring and heaps of restaurants around. Place was down an alley it was peaceful at night. Staff we encountered were absolutely lovely.

The location is very convenient for accessing food and shopping options. Just 5 min walk from City Hall subway station. Rooftop lounge is good for dining and relaxing with a cup of coffee. Hotel staff is very cheerful and helping. I like the arrangement for self check in by the staff in the early morning. Overall we just loved this place!

I was surprised there is no luggage rack, so I had my luggage on the floor during the stay. Surprisingly, the hotel I booked in Busan also does not have a luggage rack. I don’t know why this is omitted. When I turned on the TV using the remote control, it won’t turn off so I had to unplug it from the wall outlet.

As with my primary requirement, I chose this hotel due to the proximity to the City Hall station. It is also surrounded by good eating places which I have dined at during my stay. The staff were excellent, they’re friendly, helpful, accommodating, I just have to say I love them. The self service lounge is good with K-drama feels, but it was mostly raining during my stay. There is a safety box, refrigerator, hair dryer, four USB ports (but not enough power to charge my DJI Pocket 2).
