Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Housekeeping doesn't really clean your room nor change ur sheets during ur stay, all they do is changing towels, fill up water bottles and make ur bed. 2. We had a really awkward situation on the breakfast. We brought 2 boxes with our leftovers, didn't even open it, just set down and started to choose food. An elder woman (worker of the restaurant) stormed in straight to my mum and started to yell at her in a very rude manner. Then my husband came to the table and she started to yell at him about this boxes. Then I got involved and she told me :"In Korea boxes are no no!" Lol. I didn't understand what was the issue at first, but then we realized as she kept yelling that she isn't happy because she thought we want to box up food from the breakfast. So we asked her to leave us alone as we weren't doing that, she kept getting back at us and yell. That was awkward and unprofessional and totally ruined our day. Thanks, grandma. In all civilized countries you can take food away if you want or if you skip the breakfast, hotel makes a lunchbox for you to go since you paid for it. At this hotel you neither get a lunchbox also they don't allow you to eat after 9:30, even though the breakfast is until 10. I witnessed how the manager of the restaurant didn't allow the guest to the breakfast at 9:40. I think this should be worked at. Overall stay was awesome.
The location of the hotel is exceptional, 5 min from Gangnam station and bunch of buses that will bring you literally anywhere within 30 minutes. We loved the size of the room, very spacious, kitchen is 10 out of 10 for traveler, at least you can have your leftovers in the fridge and drink tea/coffee, we even had rice cooker! Housekeeping renew water bottles no matter what, very nice! There are bunch of restaurants and shopping around, convenience store on the first floor in the same building.

AustraliaThe only thing I disliked was the cleanliness. There was a huge coffee stain on the coffee table in our room. I am not sure if it is permanently stained though.
When I checked in, the room we got was right next to the elevator and we kept hearing men swearing outside our door. So I asked the reception if we could get a quieter room and they kindly swapped us to a corner room. It was much more quiet and we were able to get a good night sleep. The buffet breakfast is my absolute favourite! They have an AMAZING selection - cold dishes, hot food, western food, and coffee, they even have a milk frother, so I was able to make a latte. Superb. Also, the location is fabulous in Gangnam. I'd definitely come back just for the food alone, haha!

United StatesThe bathroom was too small and no place to put your toilet bag or any other amenities. Could use some renovation and reorganize the layout. No view from the room, facing the back of another building. AC did not work properly as well as heating system did not work properly, was not able to lower the temperature.
Great location, nearby restaurants and subway station. Easy to catch a taxi or Uber. Close to clinics and walking distance to shopping area in the basement of the subway. Comfortable room and spacious. Small kitchen well equipped with pots and pants, cutleries and dishes.

United StatesCouldn’t figure out the smart TV function which wasn’t that big of a deal. The one male staff at the front desk, usually at night, is pretty rude…we checked in pretty late at night but needed an extra blanket and he didn’t really put in the effort to find us one and just said that’s not something he does. Other staff were nice.
Clean and spacious, has everything you could possibly need in my opinion. The cleaning staff are super nice!

Excellent location with varieties of restaurants, food stands. Lots of bakeries and coffee places. Lots of convenient stores and organic stores with quality fruits. Also subway station was close. I especially loved the convenience of having a coffee shop and gimbab place right downstairs.

Maltathe room was quite dark, and had to turn on all the lighting even during the day.. the room was hot (but bearable) and I had to keep the window open as I wasn’t sure how to turn on the AC… I was there only for a few days mid May (it was 30 degrees C by the way)
