Decor is a little worn and too dark in color.

The location was good and the parking garage was an experience. We do not have parking like that in America. The attendants were very kind considering we did not speak the same language and I didn’t know what I was doing. Good view from room.

There is no secured Wifi. It lacks towel hooks, face cloths, a big long mirror has been missing and it wasn't really clean. My room was a bit run down. For me a bit too expensive for the room I received.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for me .And it was quiet.

The only drawback is the breakfast…limited options and not very tasty.

We really enjoy the stay at Gangneung Tourist Hotel. Room facilities, bed size and the view to the lake are beyond my expectation. The location is so so good that all meals we have in Gangneung are just in walking distance. We definitely will come back to this hotel if our travel brings us to Gangneung next time.

Do not choose the Delux double room with all windows!! The room with the bathtub is in a cresent moon shape, meaning 1 wall is all windows. Gives a pretty view at night but also gives problems in terms of temperature control. It's quite cold at night and then extremely hot in the morning. I mean uncomfortable hot like above 35 degrees Celsius. The air-conditioning didn't work (happens often in Korea, turn off air-conditioning in autumn/winter time). We woke up at 7 am from the heat and we were suffering!! Like immediately drinking water and opening up the windows. That didn't cool it down since it has full sun on all the windows and isolation is non-existent. We were thinking if you're senior age you could have had a stroke or gone to the hospital from dehydration. It was seriously insufferable!!! We ended up opening the door to the hallway to get some oxygen and relief of the crazy heat. Never again. We were relieved we only booked for 1 night.

The location is good. Easy to walk to many places around. Breakfast is quite good - korean food and others stuffs. Staffs are so friendly. There are the convenient stores and many cafes , food place near by the hotel. My friend drove and stopped by a bit , they have a parking lot for guests and very friendly staff.

The automated parking. wasn’t expecting a parking tower as it wasnt stated on the listing. luckily the parking staff was great and helped us through the whole process. the roads near the hotel could get very busy too so sometimes it was hard to turn into the hotel.

Loved the hotel and its location near the market and shops. many restaurants and cafe options near by. room was very big and comfortable. hotel desk and parking staff were really nice and helpful. they could speak english which was great.

Love this place in the heart of the town, best thing the neighbourhood offers many eateries, shopping lots, and Jungang market is just within walking distance! Worth every penny we spent!
