How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Good location - you can walk to many city centre attractions. 6001 airport bus very convenient.

The room was a little small.
It was a great location and the staff were so friendly. I got to the hotel too early to check in, and the staff were nice enough to keep my luggage for me until I could return and check in. Honestly, even though the room was small, I would return and stay here again just because the friendliness of the staff.

Small space, kind of old and dirty in some areas.
The staffs are very very friendly and accommodating. The location is also ideally located across the bus stop for Aiport Limousine #6001. Also very near exit 6 of the subway station. There are a number of convenience stores near the area as well. The hotel amenities were also nice and free.

I didn’t have a mirror near plug socket.
The owner and staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much for them. Good English and soooo helpful. Would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap, no fuss place to stay.

Aircon not working
Location is good. 3 subways just a few walks outside the hotel. Staffs were really helpful and cheerful

The room was rather small (I had a big suitcase and a smaller suitcase, but for people with one suitcase it should suffice). The room was very plain and the bed was very hard and not very comfortable.
The staff at Gloryinn is very friendly, very nice and super helpful. Everyday they were smiley and open to help with anything. The hotel has a great location, there are also convenience stores and cafes nearby. The staff changes towels and offers waterbottles every day.

Everything was a little old and the view from the window is weird.
Location and staff were great. Good value for money. I felt safe as a women solo traveler.

Room was really cramped, it did look bigger in the photos. There were a lot of random stuff everywhere in the stairway & lobby (Kinda looks like they ran out if place to store things).
Staff were really friendly & helpful. Check in was easy & straight forward.

Friendly staff and extremely helpful to give information regarding navigating around the city. No problem communicating in English. Comfy and cosy room. Hot shower is a plus point, especially during winter. Walking distance to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station and Euljiro 4-ga Station.

I could hear EVERYTHING what was happening in the rooms next door. One night I had to call reception because at 11pm there was a room where some women where screaming, and another night I heard all the sexual intercourse of the couple on the other room.

The laundry next door is industrial everything nice new and clean but FYI it isnt 500 won to wash and 500 to dry as sign says, it is 500 x 10 coins, that's right 5000 per load, so make sure you wash alot.also put you settings in before in you insert money otherwise your losing money. Just a heads up.
Staff were truely wonderful and most helpful, very cool with my lack of Korean they have better english. It is easy location for airport transfer both Limousine bus and subway, 7 Eleven just the street has T cards 3000 won to buy and top up, trips vary in cost but average 1200 per. can also use T card on bus outside of Seoul. Just remember to tap as you go in and then tap as you exit.

Only downside was the air conditioner cooling function was not working at the time.

There is no dry and wet separation in the bathroom.

If I had to nit pick, the only complaint I could have was that the bathroom faucet had a leak, so there was a constant dripping sound and wetness under the sink. But that really wasn't a big deal considering how great everything else was.
The front desk receptionist was super nice and waited for me when I had to check in after the scheduled time. She also offered me a bunch of free bathroom things like toothbrush, tooth paste, etc. Location was great; near 2 metro stations, many different convenient stores, and a very popular market!
